Dusk had barely fallen when Velo walked into a rather empty Sin Bin. There was supposed to be a little bit of a crowd that night and she felt like showing up early to get her bearings. Of course, she wasn't the only one who there early but for the time being Velo did a simple walk around to get a good look at the club. It was always good to triple check the place just to keep in mind what to expect. Things could change if someone had gotten in a bit of a mood and she didn't want to overlook something later that evening just because someone had been a little manic.

Slowly Velo made her way to the head security office in the back, knowing that her boss was already there. Malik seemed to always be lurking when least expected. Velo happened to be the newest bouncer at the club, but she figured she already knew what sort of person her boss was. All the staff at the Bin seemed to have a certain vibe about them despite also all being clanless. Velo herself had been a little bit of a outcast all the same. Her mother had been in a clan, her father a nice little bit of fun before they had both gone their separate ways.

None of that mattered to her. The vampire had gotten in fights left, right, and center while growing up. Which was why she had easily taken to the role of bouncer. It was good to have a steady job, a possible place to belong... and frankly Velo wasn't going to put too much thought into that. Some doors were better off closed.

Instead the redhead leaned against the slightly open door frame of the security office, lifting one hand to rap knuckles against the wood in an almost lazy manner. He likely already knew she was there, but it still felt like the barest amount of acknowledgement she could muster in the moment. "Anything interesting to keep an eye out for tonight?" There was a slight smirk as she spoke, green eye trailing around the office in another lazy manner.
