[Erynys Reich] vs Trent

The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

The lights begin to flicker slightly and then go out as the sound of thunder echos through the PA system. As a light mist fills the entryway and a soft blue light bathes the arena, the crowd hears a soft but menacing drone before the sound of a drearily played guitar. A white light slowly blooms on the stage to show a figure dressed in black sitting cross legged in the entrance way.

As the music hits, the blue light slowly turns red as the figure stands up from out of the mist as the crowd roars in response. Over the din, the announcer calls out:

"Introducing first...From Weimar Germany, weighing in at 298 lbs...Erynys Reich!"


As the music blares, Erynys makes it halfway down to ring side before the arena goes black. A single spotlight shines on the top turnbuckle where he stands staring out into the crowd, his features obscured behind a ghoulish mask. The lights go down again and when they come up a final time, the crowd sees him in the center of the ring where he sits crossed legged. He then moves to the far corner where he discards his mask and cloak to the ringside attendant and waits for his opponent.

Left Alone by Zero 9:36 would hit the PA system as Trent would slowly walk out from the back. He was just like last week, despondent and almost seemed like a world away from where he actually was. Becoming more numb as the weeks went by stacking up loss after loss.

The 240 pound athlete would make his way down the ramp, and eventually would make his way inside the ring. Upon entering, he would be standing across from an opposing force bigger than himself and more opposing and confident. Would it be another loss for the man who fell from grace, or would he finally get his win tonight!

He watched curiously as his opponent made his way down. He hadn't expected this, he expected someone with fight and conviction. This man seemed like a wounded animal, stumbling and in pain.

As the bell rang, he hoisted himself up to his feet and made his way to the center of the ring and held up a hand to see if he would accept the test of strength.

Erynys would try to start the match with a test of strength. Trent would look at the hand go up and slowly brought his own up to match his opponent. But instead of a test of strength, Trent looked to get the edge and grab and contort the wrist of his opponent in a wrist lock

He grimaced as he got caught in the wrist lock. He hadn't expected the sudden change and for a moment it appeared that he was caught. He looked to free himself with a palm thrust to the throat with his free hand.

(Auto hit)

The throat thrust was successful and he shook out his wrist to get the feeling back into it. He would look to grab the wrist of Trent and look to bend it back to a hammerlock of his own.

Trent would have his throat struck, causing him to double over and hold it. But Erynys seemed to want to stop him from doing so, grabbing one of the hands and applying a wrist lock of his own. Keeping Trent in that doubled over position while wrenching the wrist

He felt Trent tense up as he locked in control of the wrist. Cinching his grip in tighter, he looked to spin Trent around and take him down to the mat with a vicious hammerlock lariat.

Trent would almost be spiked down completely on his head from the impact of the lariat from the hammerlock position. After dropping, Trent would roll onto his stomach and hold his neck

A sneer came over his face as Trent hit the mat hard. He stood over him and grabbed him by the hair. He would then attempt several crossface blows to the head all the while berating his opponent.

"C'mon Trent. Surely you can do better than this? Where's your fight? Your conviction?"

Trent would begin to be battered by multiple strikes, only standing with the assistance of his opponent holding him up by his hair

The last blow sent Trent down and he peered down I disgust at his opponent. All this hullabaloo about how great his opponent and this is what they gave him? A poor shell of a man.

He grabbed Trent around the neck and looked to cinch in a camel clutch.

Trent would be cinched in to a camel clutch. Causing Trent to slowly crawl and inch himself toward the ropes while having his back contorted and the air being choked out of him. Will he make it to the ropes!?

Barely, Trent made it to the bottom rope which prompted the ref to start counting.

Just as the ref was about to hit five, he released the hold and allowed Trent to collapse back on the mat. He stalked behind him, waiting for Trent to rise, to hit him back, to do anything against him. "C'mon Trent, you've got something in you. C'mon I'll give you one free shot. Hit me!"
