Vespara wasn't surprised by his answer, though she was, in a way, relieved. Had he actually been involved with Brujah, or some other Clan involved with the Camarilla or Sabbat, that would have been entirely problematic. However, being Clanless would be a complication...especially if whatever this was became serious.

It was already starting to feel serious, at least on her side... but then again, what did she know? She knew books, she knew studies, she knew how to gut a man, or the areas to focus on to kill, as well as the areas to focus on to maim. But dating? That was a whole new mystery. Her parents wouldn't like it. She was expected to find a nice Giovanni boy or girl, of good standing, to meet. That he was an outsider was going to be tricky enough; that he was Clanless was likely even worse.

But did it matter to Vespara?

Not at all.

She'd had the illusion that she'd find that nice Giovanni member and that would be that. Maybe that's what happened to some in the clan, but Vespara wasn't going to walk away just because her father would likely disapprove. "I'm Giovanni," she confessed, unsure if the name Clan name would mean anything to him or not. Maybe he'd heard about the family, maybe not... though what he heard, she could only guess.

"Some Clans aren't meant to fraternize," she explained, in case he was unaware. "I was worried you might be in one of them, which would have cut all this short," she confessed. But with him being Clanless? .... no, they were golden. It wasn't enough to deter her, provided her being in a Clan wasn't enough to deter him.

She seemed a little relieved when he told her he was clanless. The fact that he had no clan, no one could claim him, was enough for those of the clans to look down their noses at him. Would she look down on him unfavorably for it too? Gods he hoped not.

He felt like this was getting more serious as well. If the kissing and holding of one another wasn’t evident or that then he had no idea what was. “Giovanni?” Regulus knew very little about the clans. Their names and ways were foreign to him and he never set out to learn about them at all. So the name really meant nothing to him.

Regulus placed a claw beneath her chin, lifting it so that he could plant another kiss on her soft lips. “I guess it’s lucky I’m not. I would hate for this date to be fit short too.”

Now that she didn't have to wonder, Vespara could relax a bit. While his status might cause waves back within her own famiglia, at present, it wasn't an issue and she wasn't going to worry about it. This was their second date, and all she knew was being with him just felt right. She wanted to enjoy him, and planned to, regardless. She liked him...

"Si, carino. Clan Giovanni. It's like one big famiglia, which is why learning the family trades are so important." Insurance. Business. Trade. .... anything but what she was actually studying. She picked up her drink and took a sip, before setting it back down. There was backstabbing, competition, and all sorts of things that happened between the families....but everything she did, she did for the family. That was the baseline expectation, no matter how personal feelings might play out. And for Vespara? The clan meant everything. Given her father's position, how could it not? She had goals, she had drive, and she would never leave the Clan willingly. What might change now that she'd met Regulus? Well... she wasn't going to think about it. All she wanted to do was think about him tonight.

When he lifted her chin and offered another kiss, she all but melted against him. Gods, she couldn't help herself. She smiled up at him, gold and violet eyes glowing with pleasure. "E molto fortunato," she agreed with a small purr in her words. "You've been such nice company. Sono fortunato a conoscerti," she spoke, slipping an arm about him, so she might hold him a moment. She couldn't help but moon over him... he was tall, dark, handsome, strong, capable... And he brought out her affectionate and playful side. Sides of her even she hadn't known she possessed.

"Così affascinante. I've been having a very nice time," she added, in case it wasn't patently clear.

Her explanation made sense to what she had already told him. If the Giovanni were business like it only made sense that she would learn about her family’s business to carry it on. It kind of made it feel like members of the clan had no real choice to choose something, we’ll different. But that must have just been the way of things in her clan.

But he wondered exactly what that might mean for them. If she was Clanned how did her clan look at the Clanless. Vespara didn’t seem to have any issue with it but that didn’t mean her family was just as accepting. It would probably be a difficult path to walk when it came to them. But Vespara was worth ir, he was sure I’d that.

Regulus smiled as she wrapped an arm around him. He pulled her in close, tucking her into the crook of his arm as he sipped at his drink ok. “I’m glad you are having a good time. So am I. I wouldn’t mind another night like this.” With maybe just a little more than kissing. It was hard not to think of her in that way, she ticked all his boxes. There was a desire and longing in his cyan colored gaze as his claw began to grape circles on her hip again. “You inow if you want to dance we can. We don’t have to sit here all night if you need some stimulation.”

Vespara knew that things might get complicated, however, she wasn't going to worry. She would see what her father's said when she next spoke to them, see what consequence there might be if she pursued something serious with Regulus. She doubted a dalliance would cause the Clan to think twice, but if she pursued something longer term.... well. It would work out. She just had to believe.

With his hand back on her hip, the little motions his fingers made felt pleasant. She nestled her head against him for a moment, happy to linger together in that booth. But such closeness alos had her thoughts straying, just as her own hands yearned to. She stroked his back with her fingers and claw tips. What else could she touch and explore....

Time and place, she chided herself. "We can do this anytime, carino," she concurred. "Mmmm, your hands are pretty stimulating, I'll admit, but dancing could be fun. I think we're overdue, given what happened last time. Besides, I think I like how these club goers dance ... maybe you can show me a few moves, si?" And maybe she could try a few things out on him. With the club packed, nobody would care what the two got up to on the dance floor, and dancing would allow her to keep her hands on him.

Regulus didn’t quite understand what him being Clanless could actually mean for her in the long run. He never understood clan politics and that is probably why he hadn’t joined one by now.it always seemed so constricting. But he hoped in the back of his mind that he wasn’t causing trouble for her at home. Otherwise he didn’t really think much of it.

He enjoyed the feel of her pressed up against him. The strokes along his back by her hand. It was a rather intimate moment that he hated to leave but alas.

“Then let’s go.” The male downed the rest of his drink. Begrudgingly slipping his arm from about her waist. He’d much prefer to keep it there but then it would make getting out of his he booth a little awkward. Sliding out he have a little stretch before turning to her and offering his hand for her to take. “Sure I’ve got a few easy moves for a first timer.”

Vespara took one last long drink of her cosmopolitan as Reggie slipped out of the booth. Setting down her class, she did turn an appreciative eye towards him as he gave a stretch, admiring his figure, and the tight shirt that clung to him. "Molto bello," she purred, before taking his offered hand.

Once out, she followed suit, giving a languid stretch. If she twisted in such a way to give him a nice view of her figure, no one could prove a thing. "I'm eager to see what you'll teach," she mused, reclaiming his hand to guide him through the throng of vampires and over to the club floor. The music was even louder on the floor, not that she minded. The heavy bass, the flash of lights, the press of bodies around them.... It was quite unlike anywhere she'd ever been.

Her eyes, of course, were all on Regulus. He certainly fit the club scene, and made a delicious sight beneath the glowing lights. She knew how to dance, certainly, but she hadn't really learned how to dance at a club... Still, she moved to the beat, letting her hips sway in time, as she awaited some instruction.

He couldn’t help but watch her as she stretched and twisted just so that he could get a really good look at his figure. Of course he liked what he saw, how could he not? Vespara was a very attractive woman

Soon they were out on the dance floor. A throng of bodies moving and gyrating in the confined space. Luckily for Vespara dancing at a club really didn’t take much skill. Just an ability to vibe with the music and let go of any reservations you might have of looking weird or off for how you moved. “There’s not much to teach, just listen to the music and feel it deep down inside. Your body will know what to do.”

He began to move to the best of the music. Slowly letting go and letting the music take over.

There were times where he would be up close to her, his hands on her hips as they both danced together. Other times he’d take her by the hand and spin her. He was glad to be here with her, dancing the night away. It was something he had needed, just a nice night to relax and have a little fun. No worries or a care in the world as long as he was with her.

Vespara didn't mind losing herself to the music. The loud speakers, the flashing light and darkness, the heavy beat, and the hottest vampire in the club before her made it very easy for Vespara. While she was used to more traditional dances, she was a quick study, and had little trouble feeling the rhythm around them.

She enjoyed when his hands were on his hips, but she also had great fun when he'd spin her on the floor, or pull her back in close. Each time, she'd get just a bit closer, moving with the music, but also moving with his body. Dancing was fun, but she enjoyed it best when she had a partner--and Regulus was as fine as one as she could find.

It felt nice to be here.

She didn't need to think about the pressures of the Clan, of her family, of her new assignment. She didn't need to worry about impressing those around her, or somehow failing because of her name. It wasn't easy being the daughter of an antediluvian ... but she hid the stress well. Here, she could just be with Regulus, the music, and nothing else had to matter. He certainly seemed more himself... and that's exactly what she wanted him to be.

"Oh, I love this song," she stated as the music changed into a remix of one of her favorites. "Come here, carino," she encouraged, spinning in his arms so her back was against him. She made sure his arms were around her, and let her hips move with his. Her eyes closed, she relishd the moment, ever grateful she'd asked for his help.

What was it about him that made her feel so comfortable? ... and why was he so easy to get on with? Maybe she was a fool, but she was here to enjoy herself--and hopefully he would do the same.

Regulus made a mental note about the song that was playing and filed it away for later. Whether or not he used this information later down the road was up in the air. He just liked knowing the kinds of things she enjoyed, what she liked. That’s what you did when you really enjoyed someone’s t company right? You noticed the small things and surprised them with the fact that you were listening later.

He did that with every little nugget of information he could glean. To show he that he wasn’t just putting on airs. That he actually cared about what she said and enjoyed.

As she pressed her back into him he wrapped his arms about Vespara, holding her close as they danced. Regulus leaned his head down so that he could place a few kisses along her neck. Their bodies moving in time with the best of the music as his hands slid up her sides. One staying at her hip as the other took her hand and teased her fingertips with his mouth. Maybe it was the music, or the drinks or maybe it was just Vespara herself that brought it out of him. He wanted to be close to her, to run his fingers through her long hair, to hear the sweet sounds she’d make. Sure it was only their second date but he had felt a closeness with the other that had never struck him before.

The world seemed to fall away. The music becoming nothing but background noise as they danced. Regulus wasn’t even sure if they were keeping time with the best anymore. But none of that mattered. Not when he had Vespara in his arms. The hand on her hip sliding across to rest her on her lower stomach as he pressed himself against her. More kisses placed along the curve of her beautiful neck.

This was bliss.

Vespara all but melted against the other, more than happy to have him pressed against her back, with his arms wrapped about her. Dancing had always been fun, but dancing with Regulus was even better. And it wasn't just because he was some cute boy--it was because she truly did like him.

It had only been a few days, but he'd certainly consumed her thoughts. Kissing him earlier had only had that fire in her belly grow, and now having him here, wrapped around her. She swayed her hips to the music, but her focus was only on him. His hands sliding against her sides, and resting on her hips felt nice; and when he brought up a hand to tease her fingertips, she hitched a small breath. Her fingertips brushed against his lower lip, almost wanting to tease their way in, but she held back.

There'd be time to better get to know that mouth later... though later wasn't far at all, when he leaned down to kiss her neck. She reached her arm up and back to hold him, reaching down with her free had to keep that arm across her belly. Though the blaring music made it hard to hear much but bass and guitars, he'd feel the purr against her throat. He'd also feel her press back against him, unabashed in her desire to be all the closer.

"Enjoying yourself, carino?" She asked, taking advantage of how close he was to her. She certainly was, and she wanted to make sure he felt the same. This was the Sin Bin after all... and a little sinning sounded nice to such a upstanding Giovanni.

Pressing his nose against her ear Regulus smiled. “Very much.” His voice a low timber as it tumbled in her ear. It was the truth. The dancing was fun sure, however being his close to her. Pressing his lips against her soft skin and breathing in her scent as it wreathed around him. The feel of her long soft hair as it pressed against his face.

That familiar fire in his belly bursting to life as the warmth crept through him. Scorching the male vampire like wildfire as it raced through his limbs. Cyan colored eyes half lidded as they swayed to the music wrapped up in one another like this. He wanted her more and more, the longer he was in her presence. The longer they were pressed together in such an intimate way. The purr in her throat he easily picked up as he kissed her neck again.

With a little growl he moved to guide her off the dance floor and towards a darker corner of the club. Pressing her up against the wall. His gaze locking with her’s as if searching for something. Maybe it was permission. He didn’t want to be too forward but she made it hard. There was only so long a man could handle having a gorgeous woman pressed up against them and his little mit was running out fast.

Lifting her chin he pressed his lips to her’s. His tongue sweeping across her bottom lip to encourage her to let him in. Regulus ran a hand along her arm, slid his fingers along her side before pulling her in close. His larger frame blocking any view of her from the rest of the club goers. “Vespara….” His hand slid from her waist to the curve of her a**. Grasping it and giving it a light squeeze as he continued to kiss her.

That low voice against her ear sent a shiver shooting through her spine, and that heat within her only grew. It might only have been their second date--first official one--but she couldn't help but let her thoughts roam. The Beast within her was equally alert, and she felt a growing hunger and need that had nothing at all to do with vitae.

With every kiss upon her neck, the tighter her hold on him grew. She wanted to be closer, to wrap herself around him, and she didn't care who was around. Right now, none of that mattered-- and while she had no intention of bringing shame to the Giovanni name, she was well aware that the club was dark, and nobody here seemed to be paying a lick of attention to anyone. She was here to have fun with Regulus... and everything they were doing was very fun.

The growl had the hair stand up on the back of her neck, and dancing was forgotten as he moved her off the floor. When he pressed her against the wall, and gazed down at her, she couldn't help but bite her lower lip. She almost felt weak, and was glad the wall was against her back. But she knew what she wanted, and she was glad, so very glad, that he was there. There was no shyness, no reservation, in her dual-eyed gaze. Nothing but interest, and desire. Nothing in this world captured her interest more than the vampire before her...

If he was searching for permission, it was fully granted.

Vespara gave in to his kisses, parting her mouth, and encouraging him entry. Her tongue flicked out gently, sweeping against his own, luring him over so she might drink him in properly. As his own hand ran down her arm, and side, she walked her fingers up his chest, slipping an arm about his shoulders, and allowing her other to caress his cheek. She pulled him closer, wanting to feel his weight upon her, wanting his frame to envelop her fully. She didn't want that kiss to end....

The Giovanni had no words, but didn't need any. The fingers that cupped his face moved up to tangle into his hair. As he gripped her a**, she moaned within his mouth, savoring his every touch. She couldn't help but ache all the more for him and hoped, that maybe, he felt the same.

He swallowed her moan, squeezing her a** again as his other hand trailed down to her thigh, pushing her skirt up just a little so that he could trace fingers along her outer thigh. Regulus wanted her, so very badly. To be honest this had not been the plan for the evening but with her so close, pressing up against him there was little else he could think about.

But here was not the proper place for that. His place was too far and outside in an alley way wouldn’t do. She deserved better than that.

Lifting her leg up to rest as his hip he pressed himself against her. His desire for her evident as his pants grew painfully tight. She was an attractive woman but there was more there than just her looks. She was fun, cheeky at times. Gorgeous, desirable by any man. But Regulus was the lucky one to have caught her eye. Very lucky.

“We should go upstairs.” He suggested. Anymore of this and they might get thrown out though he had spotted worse than this going on in some of the darker booths and corners of the club. But he didn’t want an audience. There were of course rooms upstairs for people to purchase and use for a time and he was aching to get her alone.

]Vespara continued to thread her fingers through his hair, enjoying immensely the feel of his body pressed against her. The touch of his hand along her thigh left a feeling of fire in its wake. She couldn't and didn't want to think of anyone or anything else. All night, she'd just wanted some time with him, to get to know him better; what he liked, what he didn't, what made him him... While she didn't know what Regulus had expected, Vespara didn't mind at all how it was going. She was no innocent, after all-- no matter how her father might treat her..

The Giovanni hadn't really paid much attention to layout of the club, but thankfully, she was with someone who knew the place well. She wasn't sure what was upstairs, but she could imagine. Her lips curled into a smile, and she kissed his lips once more, tangling his hair in one final grip, before dragging her claws back down his shoulders and arms. "Lead the way then, bello," she encouraged, grudgingly releasing her hold on him.

Did he know just how difficult he was to resist? He was tall, dark, handsome... And while she clearly was attracted to him physically, there was more to her interest than simple thirst. Perhaps it was taking a chance, and a risk, but she didn't mind. She was going to get what she wanted, and she wanted him.
