[Erynys Reich] vs Jay Blue Lightning

The laugh of Moxcy would sound out in the arena followed up with a more sinister jester-style laugh. The lighting would dim to red as the Moon appeared on screen with Blood Moon Rising starting to play out. On cue, the warrior of the blood moon would step out from behind the curtains and take the stage with his hands up, soaking in the crowd's reactions. An always present smile rested with the Eclipse as he began his way to the ring to slide on in. Placing himself in the center of the ring, he would drop down to his knees to sit for a moment.

The red moon would appear underneath the Eclipse as he remained in place for a moment, bathing in the light. One may see a more twisted glint in his eyes as he stood himself up and moved himself over to the ropes to turn and wait for his opponent. The lights would return to normal as he sat on the second rope, both arms draped around the top rope. As he waited, one may notice him muttering the words of his own song. No particular reason other than keeping a mind focused. Work to do ... so much work.

The lights begin to flicker slightly and then go out as the sound of thunder echos through the PA system. As a light mist fills the entryway and a soft blue light bathes the arena, the crowd hears a soft but menacing drone before the sound of a drearily played guitar. A white light slowly blooms on the stage to show a figure dressed in black sitting cross legged in the entrance way.

As the music hits, the blue light slowly turns red as the figure stands up from out of the mist as the crowd roars in response. Over the din, the announcer calls out:

"Introducing first...From Weimar Germany, weighing in at 298 lbs...Erynys Reich!"


As the music blares, Erynys makes it halfway down to ring side before the arena goes black. A single spotlight shines on the top turnbuckle where he stands staring out into the crowd, his features obscured behind a ghoulish mask. The lights go down again and when they come up a final time, the crowd sees him in the center of the ring where he sits crossed legged. He then moves to the far corner where he discards his mask and cloak to the ringside attendant and fixes his eyes on his opponent.

With the entrance done and out of the way, Lunar would remain in place for a little while longer before finally hopping up to his feet and eyeing his opponent. A low grin to him as he found some amusement in this. Blue to red? Sounded familiar. With the bell ringing, the Eclipse would take a bow and reaching out to his opponent. "Wanna dance, my friend ~?"

A sly smirk crossed his face at the invitation and he eyed the outstretched hand. He gave the slightest of nods as he took the offered hand and looked to quickly cinch in a wrist lock in a test of strength.

A test of strength? Not a dance he had in mind, but he'd take it despite a bit of a size advantage that was against the Eclipse. He'd look to try and push back against Reich with a mind looking for a step to get ahead in case he found himself flattened.

Like two bulls, they were locked together, neither one of them giving an inch. He kept his grip locked tight as his eyes bored into Jay's. He briefly eased up on the tension and looked to break the stalemate with a Glasglow Kiss headbutt

It was a surprising sort to keep the stalemate going, but it was a surprising end as The Eclipse ate a headbutt that caused his head to snap back and a look of bewilderment as he found himself shaken up by the shot.

He shook his head as his own bell was rung a bit with headbutt, but he could tell that his opponent had borne the brunt of the impact given the whiplash effect. He decided to try and press the advantage and attempt a series of vicious European uppercuts to try and wear his opponent down even more.

With some uppercuts from his opponent, it seemed the guy had the idea to keep on him which was ideal ... Which only meant he needed an opening. One that would come as he would aim a swift kick to the stomach during a wind-up.

The kick was successful and he bent over slightly as it knocked some of the air out of him.

With the kick connecting, Lunar would be quick to grab ahold of the guy's head as he shook his own head to clear out the cobwebs created from those shots. To return the favor, a knee strike would be aimed for the head of Reich.

The knee strike rocked him as his head snapped back and he was put on spaghetti legs. He did his best to try and answer back with a grizzly magnum double chop to the chest.

A double chop that had the Eclipse move back with his chest and arms tightening up from the impact. Impressive hit but Lunar would see to it to fire back with his own knife-edged chop to return a chopping favor.

The return chop made him wince as the impact rang throughout the arena. He looked to return the favor with a series of elbow shots to the head.
