Drako flips his hair out of his face and gives an arrogant grin, gaining the ire of the crowd even more.

JR: What the hell has gotten into our champion? He's such a...

King: amazing wrestler and champion. That's what you were going to say, right?

JR: I'm not going to disparage his wrestling ability or his dominance in his second run here as champion, but his personality leaves a lot left to be desired.

The champion looks down at Hiro.

"Maybe next time, you'll stay out of my business. Now come, on get back in here, let me school you some more."

Hiro looked up at Syndicate's leader and sighed, knowing that he truly couldn't just stay out here forever. The ref's count had reached four as Hiro finally got back to his feet with his hands on his hips and pulled back up onto the apron, the look of doubt spread across his entirety with the body language speaking loudest. The Ethnic Enigma stepped through the ropes and back into the ring, shaking his head. "For two seconds, please, just wrestle like a champion." he would plea with Drako, not a shot at his abilities but the fact that all he was doing at this point was countering. His offense came off of little tricks and rest-holds, something even an enhancement talent could do -- show him something real Drako, that's all Hiro wanted. Once again, he offered his arms out to Drako...wanting to lock back up. Wanting to start this match the way so many had before and so many more would. The basic, well-tested, and previously-tried collar-and-elbow tie-up.

Drako outright laughs at Hiro's plea.

"Good job, kid, back to school we go."

Again, the champion goes into the collar and elbow tie up. time to piss Hiro off more, with some more standard chain wrestling, at he attempts to catch Hiro's arm and twist it around behind him in a standing hammerlock. Gotta get back to those fundamentals just like the champ did at Wrestlemania. Gotta wrestle sometimes

From here on out, one way or another, Drako was going to be forced to wrestle. The Ethnic Enigma rolled his eyes at being called 'kid', 41 years old and a man younger than him is calling him kid? Some people, man. The two locked up, it was time to do the dance once more with Hiro not allowing Drako to take over right away...but the defense gave out after not long, Drako hammerlocking Hiro with ease. The Cuban slapped at his shoulder a couple of times, but with a quick move he tried to use his open arm as a hook -- raise it over his head and back to hook Drako's and drop to the ground -- attempting to make him let go of the hold and flip right over Hiro's body and back first to the mat!

Drako's still been at this longer than Hiro, so age be damned, he's a kid to him. The champion does this wrestling thing quite well, and his goal was not only to embarrass this man that claims Drako's well earned and won title belongs to him, but to out wrestle him. Of course, there's a bit of risk in that, as if one knows their basics, they can get out of a hammerlock. Hiro does at least remember that much, as Drako is flipped over him and onto his back. It's a quick up and over that frees Hiro from the hold, but the champion isn't going to stay down, quickly making his way back to his feet again

Hiro Shin-Mozas had FINALLY done something to gain an upperhand for half a second, and it was wonderful. He and Drako quickly found themselves back on their feet after the sequence, and Hiro was a half-step quicker when getting back to a vertical base -- he shot out a chop, or two, perhaps even three to the champion's chest trying to back him up into a corner! If all of that was successful, if Drako was in the corner, Hiro would aim another chop to his chest -- though who knows if he'd even get that far?

The first chop stings, but the champion can take it. Then comes a second, and now it's getting a little annoying. With the third, the champion ends up in the corner. Doesn't Hiro know that the champion does the chopping here? A fourth chop in the corner and the champ's had about enough of that, his chest reddening as much as can be noticed with his skin tone. the champ is going to have to find a way out of this as he braces himself on the ropes

Finally, a little bit of that sweet momentum. The fans let out a casual 'WOOOO!' with every chop, something they had become programmed to do over the years...but as Hiro finally got the champion against the corner the fans were once again in the camp that hey, Hiro did still have it. At least, when it came to basic strikes. The four chops down the pipe, Hiro would finally, FINALLY have the opportunity to do what he had hoped to do just a few moments ago -- he would once again take his left palm and try to slap Drako right across the face, letting the champ know that Hiro Shin-Mozas was NOT going to lay down tonight, he'd have to be put down.

Drako eats the slap this time, and his head swings to the side, his dreadlocks falling across his face. If Hiro wants to go down the brawling road, the champion can do that too. As he brushes his hair back out of his face, he quickly goes to kick Hiro in the gut, then clock him with a right to the side of the head

The crowd's cheers this time were definitely a bit more pronounced as the slap connected with a sickening sound. It didn't take long after the slap for a chant to break out, but it also didn't take long for Drako to respond. He drove a hard kick into Hiro's gut, sending him right to a knee. Hiro may have been able to get himself back up quickly but for his trouble he ate a huge hit to the temple that sent him on a loop around the ring. He threw his arms up to defend himself for anymore blows to the head but it looked like this match was on the fast track to the Subspace Emissary because we have a BRAWL on our hands tonight.

the champion follows right after Hiro, now determined to show him some real chops. But, he'd do it in less, as he would put a bit of STANK on the first chop he'd throw to the chest

Was there a storm going on outside the arena right now? The sound of thunder clapping could be heard, though it was localized entirely within the ring...oh god, was that Drako's chop making such a noise! The answer was clear when Hiro flat-backed in the ring and began to shake on the ground, gripping at his chest as he tried desperately to make the pain go away. Drako's chop was easily one of the hardest he'd ever felt in his career and the stinging was deep he would feel it in his back as well. Hiro tried to inch away from Drako as he dealt with pain management, hoping that the ref would maybe step in to give him a moment -- but for some reason he highly doubted that would stop Drako from remaining on the offensive.

truth be told, Drako felt that sting in his own hand. Ah but it was such a welcome sting, dishing out some deserved pain to Hiro. Of course, Drako has no intent on letting Hiro take a breather. No, instead, he'd follow after him and attempt to help him to his feet, but only because he intends to chop the living crap out of his chest again

As Drako moved right past the ref, Hiro cursed under his breath as he realized his one shot at a small break was dead in the water. The World Heavyweight Champion would shockingly help the Ethnic Enigma to his feet -- but boy was it for all the wrong reasons. Hiro was again chopped so unmercifully hard, backing him up against the ropes as he hooked both arms to try and keep from falling again. His eyes looked like they'd pop out of his head as he tried his damnedest to keep air flowing in out of his lungs. Nobody likes it when breathing stops being an autonomous action, so you can probably guess how awful it was in the moment for Mr. Shin-Mozas. He couldn't help but shift gaze right at Drako's, staring daggers into his opponent and trying to really push home a simple fact without speaking a word: "Hey Damone, you're an a*****e."

Drako is quite comfortable taking his time here, but he's still going to press on. The glare from Hiro just widens his smile as he would attempt to catch his arm and irish whip him to the opposite ropes, then catch him on the rebound with a back body drop
