[Ewing Winters] vs Grace Fatsumoto

The jawbreaker connected, Ewing too busy with the actual pain she felt in her shin to do anything to stop it! She staggered backwards holding her jaw -- she spat a few times on the ring mat to make sure no blood was coming out. There was definitely a decent amount of pain finally reaching through the solid defenses of Winters, but it wasn't enough to completely stop her from going back on the offense. As she regained her composure, as Grace presumably was back on her feet as well, she tried to run into her with a Lou Thesz Press! Bringing her down, if successful, Ewing would try to drive fist after fist not into the face of her opponent but instead to her chest! She would try to kill the lungs of the speedy Fatsumoto, that was the only way she could slow her down!  

[The Number Three]

With the jawbreaker connecting, Grace thought she had more time than she did, but Ewing hadn't gone down. Grace didn't have time to avoid the sudden charge while she was still rising, and the weight of Ewing's leap into her sent her crashing to the mat. Instincts told her to cover her face, as squirming out from under the larger woman wasn't likely. Those instincts cost her when the series of thunderous body blows rained down on her torso.

Ewing's punches would connect, five or six before the ref pulled her off and forced her to give Grace a break or be disqualified. Ewing would take a moment to flex for booing fans, putting on a show here that she knew she would -- no help from Grace of course. The idea that this match would have had more.impact with a man as her opponent aggravated Ewing, and she would try to take out that aggravation by leaping and trying to drive an elbow into the chest of Grace followed by a pinfall attempt!  

[The Number Three]

Laying on the mat, nodding to the official that she could continue, Grace could hear the pop of the audience as Ewing flexed. Even if the boo's were negative she could sense the woman working the crowd up. She sucked air in the pain from the body blows becoming an aching klaxon throughout her torso.

Grace had just started to roll and sit up when the diving elbow landed into her sternum and smashed her back into the mat. She was not afforded breath while Ewing was crushing her in a pin. Thankfully she was not unconscious, and she registered the official's count.

"1.."

"2..."

Grace kicked her legs wildly and threw a shoulder into the air, and the audience popped! That was a dangerously close call, but not only that, the fist Grace threw up was extended into a thumbs up. She wouldn't give in so easily, she just needed to find her breath and then she could get out of her precarious situation.

Grace's kickout came as a real surprise to Ewing, she was not expecting her to have any fight left. Be that hubris or just an uneducated guess on her part, it didn't matter too much. The point was Grace's insubordination to the norm of Ewing's world was upsetting and would be met with swift and serious punishment! Rising to her feet, Winters would take a handful of Grace's hair and try to pull her up as well. Her plan: Irish whip her into the ropes and then catch her on the rebound with a knee to the gut to send her end over end!  

[The Number Three]

Ddespite the pain, Grace gave just enough resistance to Ewing's hair pulling to make the woman think Grace was dazed. She was quite dazed, in fact mostly from having to struggle through pain to breath; but, she was getting her wits back. When Ewing released her, she hit the ropes hard to rebound, and instead of dazedly slamming into Ewing's knee strike, she jumped.

This time however, instead of trying to kick Ewing, Grace jumped up to try and plant her thighs on Ewing's shoulders. Knowing that Ewing would have to brace herself to keep from toppling backwards, Grace threw her weight backwards trying to pull Ewing over into a frankenstiener.

Ewing was absolutely flabbergasted when Grace took flight, actual resistance here was the last thing she expected to deal with in the moment! Somehow Grace got high enough in the air to go thigh-first onto Ewing's shoulders! The larger woman struggled for a second to keep her footing and not fall backwards, but did indeed keep herself standing despite being potentially moments away from being crushed by Grace's meaty thighs. This is what happens when you take care of yourself folks, or if you don't -- working out or eating too many cupcakes, regardless you're gonna have some meaty thighs! Perhaps being the daughter of Aaron was enough to leave her genetically predisposed to some big a** thighs, but regardless of how they got there, the Frankensteiner was PERFECT! Ewing landed directly on the top of her head and fell quickly into a heap, gasping for air as she clutched her neck. The fans were getting super behind Grace now, as it looked like the rookie had achieved her biggest spot thus far in the match!  

[The Number Three]

The world spun, grace hit the mat, and then she felt the familiar rumble of a much larger body slapping onto the mat. She finally had a moment to catch her breath, but she couldn't dawdle, one bump wouldn't win this match. She rolled and pushed herself up to her feet. Spotting the nearest ropes to Ewing's body she sprinted across the ring building speed off of a rebound and then jumped onto the second rope. With another dazzling display of graceful acrobatics she flipped backwards off of the rope, with a springboard Moonsault aimed for Ewing's supine body.

The only thing hurting more than her neck was her pride -- Ewing was cussing to herself as she realized embarrassment might just be on the menu tonight. This was no different than being in the ring with some of the cruiser-luchadores she would face off with when booked Mexico, and yet she still struggled to take Grace seriously because she was a woman. Winters rolled on to her back and looked up at the lights, kicking her leg down on the mat a few times from just how jacked her head ended up. It got dark real fast though, and not from a concussion -- no, because suddenly Grace's body blocked out the lights and crushed right into her sternum with a BEAUTIFUL Springboard Moonsault! It was picture perfect, and all Ewing could do was lay sprawled out on the mat in a similar fashion screaming out in anger and pain!

Grace hit the impact onto Ewing, and drew out a thunderous pop from the audience who loved to see acrobatic moves. Resisting the urge to go for an early pin, Grace wanted to capitalize on the momentum she'd just gained. She pushed herself up, and ran to the turnbuckle. Despite having shown how easily she could move up the pads, Grace climbed the turnbuckle like any other wrestler; the slowness built the audience's anticipation. At the top she crouched, waiting for Ewing to stand so that Grace could leap at the woman with a diving crossbody when she stood.

Grace most certainly didn't HAVE to rush, Ewing was in no hurry to get back to her feet, very slowly selling her abdomen as she got back up to a knee, breathing heavily. Her scowl was on BIG TIME, perhaps a wave of depression hitting here as the big time was truly THE BIG TIME even with women involved -- Fatsumoto was brand new to the ring and Ewing had years of indy time under her belt...but it didn't matter here on an evened playing ground. She would push up to her feet with the sound of the crowd elevating, Grace getting up on the turnbuckle finally and aiming for her opponent. Ewing would slowly turn to the face the scary turnbuckle -- and Grace took flight instantly! The crossbody connected and Ewing would fall to the mat...but she held firm! Her arms grabbed hold of Grace and Ewing rolled through, keeping the smaller wrestler in her arms! The fans booed but also hit the classic 'ooooh' as the larger woman put her strength on display, slowly standing up with Grace in her arms -- she would aim to toss the woman from her arms and across the ring, with quite the showing of vigor at that!  

[The Number Three]

Grace expected to crash into Ewing, and got exactly that. Something had gone wrong though, because instead of slamming into the ground where she could make a strong pin attempt; the pair of them rolled and suddenly Ewing was standing holding a struggling Grace. Before she could do anything to rectify her situation, Grace was thrown across the ring to land roughly on her back. She rolled once over to her stomach, pressing a hand against her hip where she'd hit the hardest.

Ewing snarled a bit as she got right into Grace's face, kneeling down next to her and lifting her head off the apron to scream right in here face. "Are you happy now?! Glad Uncle MICK put you in here with me?!" Ewing would drop Grace's face back down onto the mat, and figured...hey, this is probably as good of a time as any to start ending this match! She got to a standing position again and leaned down, trying to wrap here hands around Grace's abdomen and deadlift her into a bent over position between Ewing's legs. If successful, she would lift her up, looking to go for her signature...a running sit-out powerbomb!  

[The Number Three]

Before Grace could respond to Ewing's taunt, the larger woman was scooping her up. As Grace was lifted onto Ewing's shoulders she quickly realized the danger she was in. She searched her memories instinctually for something to counter and prevent a powerbomb; but, without the tilted momentum as leverage she knew another frankenstiener wouldn't work. With no time, and even fewer options Grace threw a hail mary and started unloading on Ewing's face with a rapidly fast series of punches. Her fists were flying so fast they seemed a blue, but deep down Grace didn't have much hope. Her father didn't call it the useless flurry of punches for nothing.

The punches from Grace would connect, at least a few of them making real contact...but Ewing Winters was NOT going to be stopped as she took off and slammed Grace right down on the mat with her Running Sit-Out Powerbomb! The fans let out a wincing boo as Ewing planted the spunky rookie with one of her top moves, a smile coming across her face as she succeeded in popping off a big time spot. She reached down and put her hands on her opponent's chest, trying to turn this move into a pinfall victory early into the match!
