Ewing couldn't believe the situation she found herself in. The crowd cheering on Grace, her body aching so much, a scenario she hadn't found herself in since she herself was a rookie years prior. Anytime she got in the ring with another woman it was an absolute squash, and that's why she moved up to working with men. There wasn't a single reason she could fathom that would explain why Grace seemingly had her number tonight, but perhaps...it was truly just beginners luck. There was a bit of spiritualism in the Winters upbringing, it stayed in their family for generations, and luck was an idea they certainly believed in. She gulped down her frustrations and did the only thing she could in the moment: she stuck out her arms and began to walk towards the smaller Fatsumoto...offering a collar-and-elbow tie-up.  

[The Number Three]

There was nothing in it for Grace to accept the tie-up. The fans were shouting and booing, trying to convince Grace not to take up the challenge. She knew she shouldn't accept but, she had been working on her technical holds. Grace was supremely proud of her progress. She could hear the commentators speaking to the audience's watching at home, debating if she was brave enough. That was the tipping point, Grace was fearless and aspersions to her bravery infuriated her.

Grace nodded to Ewing, determination set in her jaw. She approached Ewing reaching out and locking up with her. She moved quick, knowing she had almost no time to establish control or be overpowered. She drew back trying to force Ewing to overextend herself.

Ewing and Grace would soon become intertwined once more, what was old was new again; a collar-and-elbow so close to the climax of this match as opposed to being popped off right at the start. The two women tangled but Grace was the ne who would try to make a move first, pulling herself back to try and compromise Ewing's muscles, but she would have none of it. Defiantly Miss Winters would begin pushing her opponent back slightly, forcing her to plant her legs so she wouldn't be overtaken -- but that's what Ewing was looking for. In perhaps her greatest display of strength yet, Ewing dipped her lower body to the left, and flexing every last muscle in her arms she attempted to use her momentum by dropping back and pulling her right arm around Grace's body, clasping her own hands together. She attempted to rip Grace from the ground and drive her down into the mat with a masterful catch wrestling technique. It in a way acted not too dissimilar from using a belly-to-belly suplex -- but the impact would be all the same.  

[The Number Three]

Grace could tell almost immediately that her plan had backfired, her muscles were fatigued from constant exertion; and that didn't take into account the difference in pure strength between the two women. She fought and struggled but Ewing had planted her feet, and then wisely lowered her center of gravity even more. Grace couldn't budge her, she quickly found herself crushed tightly to Ewing as the woman flipped her over into a catch wrestling suplex that ended with Grace slamming into the mat under Ewing's weight...

She hit the mat and would have bounced and rolled away were it not for Ewing's strong grip which managed to hold on to Grace through the impact.

Ewing held onto Grace with purpose -- the move was successful, and in the position that they were in, Ewing was able to keep the torque in on Grace's arms to try and weaken them just a little more. It was then that ref realized that, with her shoulder, Ewing was partially choking Grace -- he forced the hold to be broken before the count of five...saving things for Grace, for now. However, Ewing's eyes were set on ending this match RIGHT NOW, as she stood over the downed Grace and tried to lift her up to put her in position...for a tombstone piledriver. Would she be successful as she used her strength to lift her opponent up right off the ground? This was getting by chance a bit TOO intense.  

[The Number Three]

Graces back was aching and she had no strength to resist Ewing's torque on her arms, but the official ended the hold quickly. That didn't mean she was safe however. Ewing confused her for a moment, by trying to pick her up, upside down. Grace knew nothing of her opponents history, or moveset and had no idea what Ewing had planned for her. That didn't stop her from trying to prevent it. As Ewing started lifting Grace up, the flexible, smaller woman brought her knee up. It wasn't as powerful as one of her muai thai knee strikes when standing, but she still kicked at the top of Ewing's head with her hard kneecap.

Ewing's strength had been dying down as the match went on, which is natural because she just wasn't conditioned to go this long with a woman -- she didn't really think she would have to. She began to lift up Grace, but as she did, the aerial assaulter connected with a few knees to her face. One might have been okay, but once it became two and then three, Ewing could do nothing but relinquish her hold on Grace and drop her, turning to the ropes as she stumbled to them for help keeping her up. She shook her head of the cob webs and couldn't help but think at this point she may run out of gas before the job is done. Perhaps, despite all the desire she had to never wrestle a woman again, she should never make the stake of not conditioning herself prior just in case anything was ever dragged out again.  

[The Number Three]

Mostly unaffected by the shirt fall back to the mat, Grace rolled over to her stomach and started crawling towards the nearest turnbuckle. The bumps she'd taken were few, but they were hard and his entire body hurt as a result of it. The reached the ropes and started pulling herself up to her feet where she would take a moment to shake her limbs and release some of the pain.

She turned and looked towards Ewing as the woman was shaking her head, presumably to reorient herself. This was possibly a great opportunity for Grace. She bolted across the ring, trying to get to Ewing before she turned around. If she made it, Grace would jump up grabbing for Ewing's shoulders, while placing her foot flat against the larger woman's lower spine.

All it would take was a mighty heave to pull Ewing backwards into a modified spinebreaker monkey flip that would launch her across the ring.

Ewing, who as a child was a big fan of the High School Musical films, seemingly didn't have her head in the game at the moment and paid for it dearly. She felt the ring rumble slightly as Grace had taken off, but her reaction time was awful in the instant. Grace leaped onto her back like some sort of MONKEY, and FLIPPED her backwards, SPRINGBOARDING her from the spine with he foot as the momentum carried her in a 180 causing he to land stomach first on the mat as she punched the mat over and over and kicked her feet, the pain to her back and the air knocked out of her combining to make an awful time for Apple Valley native.

Rrolling off of her back, Grace propped herself up to one knee. She was panting heavily, exhaustion threatening to end the match before she could. Ewing was on her stomach thrashing around, and Grace wasn't keen on trying to fight her to flip her over. She stood and backed into her corner, the woman looked ragged and she was clearly growing sluggish. Grace formulated a plan, something to give her a moment to breath, but also to set Ewing off and get her to burn the last of her energy.

"Oh come on, is that the best you can do? I'm really starting to think I'm the one given a weak woman opponent for my first match. Seems like Uncle Mick was giving me an easy win."

Ewing began to settled down seconds before Grace's taunts started. She looked up at her from the mat and gnashed her teeth, the implications that she would put in this match to be an easy win for another woman was enough to ignite the fire within her one last time. That was it. There was no kerosene left in this lamp, so Winters had to make it work. She pushed up to her feet in a burst and ran her way towards Grace in the corner, trying to trap her there and slam her body into her! It was such a brutish way to compete, it was a risk maneuver seeing as Grace would have all the time in the world to move, but the desperation was at an all time high -- Ewing had to try everything while she could still move!

Grace hesitated just a moment, as Ewing charged at her, just for a moment; she actually wondered if she'd just made a mistake as she recognized the fury in Ewing's eyes. Reality snapped into focus and she had less than moments to act. Diving into a roll at the last second, Grace narrowly avoided being crushed into the turnbuckle. She'd seen what that move had done to her father's opponents, and wanted no part in it.

Grace backed across the ring and crouched near the turnbuckle this time, panting and watching Ewing, preparing.

Ewing managed to just stop herself in the nick of time from slamming her entire chest into the turnbuckle, lucky her -- she was able to meet Grace's reflexes of rolling out of the way with stopping her momentum just this one time, and for sure merely this one time. She cracked her neck and slowly turned to stare down Fatsumoto once more, wiping her hair out of her face and being left with few ideas and even less energy to execute them. It was now all about physicality and being a brute, effectively, as she stomped her away in towards her opponent again, trying to reach out and grab her in anyway possible -- by the hair, arm, body, anything to get her hands on her.

Grace wasn't going to let herself get caught up in the moment. She pranced backwards and sidestepped always staying as far away from Ewing as she could, only letting the woman get close so that she could evade her and create more distance. They were starting to lose the crowd a bit, this game of cat and mouse was only so interesting. The cheers were slowly shifting into taunts for action and the occasional boo.

Ewing Winters -- the last person who would ever expect to hear boos not for heeling it out, but instead of boring a crowd. What had been a match filled with high paced action and high risk moves early on was now being treated as like an in-law who has overstayed their welcome. Ewing had tried a few times now to grab Grace and was left huffing and puffing with her hands on her knees in center ring, looking up at Grace with embarrassment in her eyes. She couldn't stand to see this little jumping blue raspberry anymore, and had gotten to a point where all of her ideas were spent. Ewing slowly stood up straight, pulling on her elbow pads to get them off and toss them off to the side. She produced a hair tie from her trunks and used it to put her hair up in a ponytail, the fans questioning just what she was doing...a make-over mid-match? Really? Ewing would then motion for Grace to come forward.

"Come...huffhuff...Come fight me like a MAN, b***h!"
