Hello, everyone. AnimusHelixRebirth here of the Mermaid Princess RP Guild!

Here is a PSA about the characters explaining about one of the Best Quiz Shows of Answers & Questions that we're all familiar with.

This is for those who are unfamiliar with the TV Show that started its Daytime Run from 1975 to 1991, its America's Game...
WHEEL... OF... FORTUNE!!!

Sorin enters the Player's Room.
Hello, I'm Prince Sorin from the Mermaid Princess RP Guild...
Most Games nowadays were shown at Night but there were Games shown during the Day & this is one of those games which continues to operate after dark. As we're talking about about America's Game, Wheel of Fortune. Both Daytime & Nighttime Versions!
So, let's take a minute for us & please welcome, Arrietty!

Sorin opens a gate spell for Arrietty to enter in her gown.

Narrator: For those of you who grew up in the 1980s and 1990s don't realize that Wheel of Fortune had a Daytime Version. Other than that, everyone played along at home, hoping to beat the players to the Missing Letters Puzzle solution and is the most dominating show in Syndication rivaling that of Family Feud in 1984.
Both Daytime and Nighttime Versions played the same but had differences, not just the host.
Since everyone is familiar with the rules & gameplay of Wheel, I might as well give a refresher course in case anyone has forgotten.
The Narrator said to the characters

*Wheel of Fortune Gameplay*
The Game is played with 3 Players as they take turns solving a missing letter puzzle. The only hint that's given is a description of what the puzzle contains (such as a person, place or thing and so on.) When its a player's turn they have 3 options: Spin the Wheel, Buy a Vowel or Solve the Puzzle.

After spinning the wheel, it'll land on a space with a value on it, showing how much each letter is worth. The player then guesses a letter and if any are present, they will be shown and money is awarded for each one then the player gets another turn. However, if a letter is not present, that player's turn ends and gameplay proceeds to the next player.

Because of how common vowels are in puzzles, they CAN'T be spun to be revealed, the player needs to buy them, each vowel costs $250 from the current round's earnings & a player can't buy a vowel until they guess at least one consonant successfully & it must be enough to reach the $250 cost, if a player attempts to buy a vowel and again, none are present, that player's turn ends.

If the player know what's on the board and think that the player has earned enough money to end the round, they can solve the puzzle. If the solution is wrong, that player loses his or her turn. But if the solution is correct, the round ends & all the money along with prize wedges' totals obtained in the round goes into that player's total earnings which determine who becomes champion and advances to the Bonus Round once all Rounds (Speed Up Included) are played. One thing to note is no matter how much money the player ends with, there is a minimum round earnings of $250 for the winner of the round. So if a player finishes a round and is under $250 after solving the puzzle, that player's score will be brought up to $250.

*Wheel of Fortune Bonus Round Gameplay*
The Player who is crowned champion proceeds to the Bonus Round where he or she selects one of 3 Categories to use, then picks a prize envelope (by spinning the Bonus Wheel or from a WHEEL Display). Next the player is given the puzzle and an RSTLNE Reveal along with 3 more constant letters and one vowel. If the Player did not use or lose the Wild Card in the Base Game, they're given one more extra Constant Letter to select then need to make out what the answer to the missing letter puzzle is. The Envelope would then be opened after the Bonus Round, Win or Lose, to see what the Prize is.

*Prize Envelopes*
Narrator: The Prize Envelopes came into play for a reason. Originally, the Bonus Prize was up to the Player's Choice. However, most players went with High Roller Valued Prizes like the $25K, $5K, $100K Cash Prizes, Car, Vacation Trip, Speedboat, etc. Which was caught by the Producers' eye and we all know how that ended up... The Narrator said to the characters

Narrator: This Endgame was deemed as an "Unfair Advantage". So in an effort to make the Bonus Round more fair, the Executives at NBC & CBS decided to add a WHEEL Prize Stand for the 5 Envelopes to be placed. The Player would then pick one of the letters of his or choosing for the envelope & should the player win that prize, that Envelope was gone for the rest of the week.
This was later succeeded by the Bonus Wheel where the Champion would spin the Bonus Wheel to pick an envelope for the Bonus Round.

*Daytime Wheel updates*
Narrator: Now onto the Daytime Version's Updates. One notable change was that due to complications, Wheel of Fortune Daytime moved from NBC to CBS.
Wheel of Fortune Daytime began its 4th & Final Daytime Version in July 1989. Most High Value Prizes were dropped and Cash Values were reduced in Contrast that was in the Nighttime Syndicated Version.
The Top Dollar Value back then was $500 up to $1,250...
However, the 3rd Daytime Version which was the Benirschke experiment had $50 & $75 Spaces.
The Daytime and Nighttime Version Prize Spaces differed from Version to Version.
So the way I had the OOC Game of Wheel of Fortune Daytime Set was the Top Values would be...
$1,000 in Round 1,
$1,500 in Round 2,
$2,000 in Round 3
and for Round 4 along with the Speed Up Rounds, $2,500.
Round 2-4 would have 2 Prize Spaces, 1 Surprise Wedge & the Prize Wedge. The Prize Wedge would appear in Round 2 and onward.
While the Daytime's Top Cash Prize would be $5,000 back in 1990, an updated Daytime Version as an OOC Game would have the Players Earn the Right to go for $5,000 which meant that the Top Bonus Round Cash Prize was $2,500.

*Daytime Wheel Reception*
Narrator: However, the Daytime Version of Wheel of Fortune didn't last long. On Januray 1991, Wheel of Fortune Daytime would return to NBC until its Final Sunset on September 1991, marking an end to Wheel of Fortune's Daytime Version in 16 years due to Daytime Television's Climate Changes where talk shows & news shows would take over.
Nowadays, Wheel of Fortune Nighttime Version is still going strong as of current.
So the reason why Wheel of Fortune Daytime tanked by the end of 1991 after 16 years to me was because I think it was the same reason behind the Fall of Nickelodeon Studios due to its Stagnation. The Reason being that Wheel of Fortune Daytime played the same way as the Nighttime Version & didn't do anything new to keep the Daytime Version in check.
