xxxxx⇾Astronomy ~ {O}
Astronomy just seemed to constantly have application in Cass’ life, so it made sense to study. Plus Callie provided lots of super helpful insight into the study, which helped keep Cass focused. Come exam time, she passed without any real issues.
xxxxx⇾Charms ~ {O}
Cass found charms as interesting as it was useful. She soaked up the class like a sponge, learning lots of helpful tidbits as she practiced. The exam had nothing on her, and she was excited for her top marks.
xxxxx⇾Defence Against the Dark Arts ~ {EE}
Defense was a tricky class, but one Cass for sure wanted to be fluent in. Getting kidnapped by a vampire once meant she was sure it’d happen again. And what better way to protect one’s self than defensive magic? While she didn’t do perfectly on the exam, she did get a solid grade.
xxxxx⇾Herbology ~ {O}
Plants were basically just humans that needed a little extra sunlight, right? Cass channeled the knowledge of her birth parents, remembering gardening for all their crops and such. The skill seemed to be second nature, and Cass did phenomenal on her test.
xxxxx⇾History of Magic ~ {D}
Could there be a more boring class than history? If there was ever a surefire way to knock Cass into a stupor, it was this. She didn’t even really try to study, just tried to pass the class on ~good vibes~ .... which is no way to pass exams, of course.
xxxxx⇾Potions ~ {O}
Being adopted by the potions professor was a pretty dang good way of getting all the studying one could need. Cass often went to her mom with questions, learning far more than any old book could teach her.
xxxxx⇾Transfiguration ~ {A}
Who the heck decided such a cool study should be so dang confusing?? Try as she might to puzzle out the class, Cass couldn’t seem to crack the code. She did study a lot, but something about it just never matched up. While she did pass, it wasn’t great by any means.

Art was super fun, and Cass loved expressing her creative side. Her favorite thing was to paint in all grayscale, then to use a vivid color in one aspect of the painting so the color really popped out. Apparently it was cool enough to impress the exam dude, who gave her top marks.
xxxxx⇾Care of Magical Creatures ~ {O}
Could anyone not love meeting these sweet little animals? They were just so precious! Cass did her best to befriend all the creatures, learning all about them so she wouldn’t accidentally upset anyone. The extra care paid off, and Cass passed with flying colors.
xxxxx⇾Divination ~ {A}
Even though it’d be super cool to be a seer... Cass simply was not. Crystal balls always seemed foggy, and tea leaves never seemed to form a picture. She appreciated all that true seers could do, but quickly realized a seer she was not.
xxxxx⇾Ghoul and Ghost Studies ~ {EE}
Cass mostly liked G&G for an excuse to chat with the local ghosts around Hogwarts. They were quite fascinating, and Cass often got distracted from her class objectives by stories and unnecessary questions. She did still learn enough to pass the exam, at least.
xxxxx⇾Healing Class ~ {O}
Was Healing magic super-effective against the undead? Or had she learned that in a game somewhere? Either way, she studied the class hard, mostly because she’s pretty dang clumsy and got tired of going to the hospital wing at least once a week. Plus, this way she could help her family if they got hurt.
xxxxx⇾Music ~ {O}
Cass learned the pan flute from her birth mom, then the piano... in a less fun way. But her big sister Callie seemed to be an expert on the keys, and Cass enjoyed learning the craft that way. Cass seemed to have a natural rhythm, and between her two instruments, she passed the exam with ease.
xxxxx⇾Mythology ~ {A}
Despite thinking Mythology would be super cool.... it turned out to be a slightly-less-boring version of History class. Gross. Some of the stories would’ve been interesting if told in a less boring format. She tried her best, but still ended up failing the exam.
xxxxx⇾Wandless Magic Practice ~ {EE}
How cool would it be to never need her wand again? That’s the logic that got Cass into the class, where she learned it was easier said than done. She worked hard, though, and got pretty good at the class. Cass missed a few points on the exam, but still did pretty dang good.
