Personality: Laith is a very confident person who doesn't let anything get to him. He is often described to have a very bright, rambunctious personality, pure honesty, and a strong loyalty to his friends. He is affectionate and kind...most of the time. Laith also has great professionalism, which allows him to perform desired customer service in even the most tense situations. On the flip side: He can tend to have a temper and a potty mouth. He can be a little too loud or brash in non-professional situations, or overly excited at times. And he tends to spend more time looking at someone pretty instead of actually approaching them. Though he doesn't lack confidence in himself, he does lack social skills to ask someone out without putting his foot in his mouth. And lastly, he spoils himself and his dog rotten with high quality clothes or food.
Bio: Since he was young, Laith could always see the dead. They would always flock to him, pulling on his clothes or muttering at him in different languages as if they were expecting him to do something. When his own parents passed, he remembers holding their hands as they walked with him until they were no longer there. It wasn't something he could really understand until he was older and his grandmother spoke to him about his father's gift.
After his parent's passing, he was staying with his grandmother and eventually met his best friend Emy. It was just him and the two for a long time until even she passed away when he was 16. When Laith arranged his grandmother's funeral, he hit a low point in his life where he wanted to die along with her after having to weigh her deeds in her life and carry her on to the next life. It wasn't easy seeing those he held dear walk away without him.
Without her, he had no family left in his life.
The family he had left on his mother's side shunned him for being openly into both men and women, or for being darker skinned than them; a trait he inherited from his father and grandmother, who were Egyptian. Aside from his father and grandmother, he knew nothing of the Crocoyes family. He felt like all of the brightness in their home got sucked out and everything was gray as he wallowed in loneliness and isolation. It took a particularly nasty fight with Emrys, where things were said and punches were thrown, for him to pull out of it. As someone who has lost his parents as well, Emy was able to drag him out of the depths of his depression and get him back on track to enjoying his life. Ever since, he's vowed to never let the silence and dark words reach him, and has become intensely loyal to Emrys for sticking it out with him.

Extra: Laith was born on October 29th, and has an adorable, fluffy German Shephard named Pancake at home. Anytime he gets judged for the name, he tells the story of his heroics where he saved little Pancake from getting hit by a car that had a pancake advertisement on it. Emy always corrects him by telling them Laith actually just found the dog as a puppy abandoned in an alley eating an old pancake.
