Savage Sons (C) vs [The Cult of the Serpent]

So far, things were not going the way he hoped. First he was denied the right to start the match, now he was having trouble taking on a woman.

As he looked to rise from the knee, he was sent crashing to the mat with the dropkick.  

[Salem Croft]

Salem was anxious on the apron, trying to stomp and clap to will their fans and Eryn to keep their motivation! Ramona was making an effort to deny the giant German from keeping on his feet or building motivation, Rex recovering on the outside as both snakes found themselves temporarily sidelined!

 

[Undead Superstar]

Ramona knew that she could waste no time. Moving to the German's side, Ramon would attempt to deliver a couple of stomps to Erynys's midsection. If it worked she would turn around and attempt to deliver a standing moonsault.

The stomps made him wince as each continued to knock the breath out of him. As Ramona went for the standing moonsault, he looked to bring his knees up to try and counter.

Ramona was caught off guard as she landed on a pair of knees. All air was driven from her as she bounced back onto the mat and clutched at her ribs.

Outside, Rex was speaking to a cultist who rose up at ringside. After a brief moment of whispers and points at his apron, the cultist nodded and Rex gave a nod in return before starting back toward his own corner.

The gamble had been successful, yet not without its downside because he felt something pop in his knee as she landed, sending a jolt of agony through him.

He set his jaw as he punched his leg, trying to get some feeling back into it and unable to capitalize immediately.

Clutching her ribs, Ramona rolled away from Erynys and lay still for a moment. She looked to her brother as he climbed back onto the apron. She thought of tagging out but instead started to just move toward the ropes so that she could pull herself up.

Slowly, but surely he was able to get some feeling back into his leg and he used the ropes to help pull himself up. Once he was up, he looked to zero in on Ramona and launch himself at her with a Claymore kick.

Ramona managed to get to her feet thanks to the ropes but as soon as she turned around, she was taken down by a forceful kick. She lay stunned until she heard her brother order her to move. The words prompted her to get just enough recovery to roll over and start crawling to her corner.

The kick hit flush and they both hit the mat, but it was the big German who would manage to kip up to his feet much to the crowd's delight. He surveyed the landscape and looked to grab hold of Ramona's leg to prevent her from making the tag.

Ramona felt her leg get grabbed. With her brother barking orders at her to shake him off, she pushed herself up, forcing herself to try and get to an almost standing position on her free leg. If she managed to get up, she would seek to use her agility to free herself by jumping and spinning to try and catch Erynys with her free foot, hoping to possibly catch her pursuer in the head with a kick and force a release.

He desperately tried to hang on and drag her back to his corner. The kick caught him in the head and was enough for him to release her and stagger him back into the opposite corner to try and collect himself.  

[Undead Superstar]

Freed from the grasp, Ramona pushed herself up. She moved to her corner and turned to face Erynys prepared to charge and deliver a running blow but was stopped as Rex tagged himself in. Ramona looked to him and the pair shared a silent conversation before Ramona stepped back out. Rex looked across the ring and pointed a finger at Salem before beckoning him forth.

Salem saw Eryn was struggling a bit, and momentum was changing away from the champs! With Eryn in his corner, Salem tagged himself in, stepping up and facing down Rex from the other side of the ring!

He shook his head to get rid of the cobwebs out of his head. As Rex was tagged in, it was as if someone lit a match under him and he roused himself and looked to launch himself with a spear at the vile cult leader.

That was until he felt the slap of the blind tag of his partner and he slowly turned to his partner with barely contained anger and motioned with his hands as if to say "What the hell?" as the crowd let out a smattering of boos.
