The Nishi Daak will be made up of Pureshifters, canids and/or felids, who call the misty forests home. Visually, they are spectral-like Shifters who blend in with their surroundings. They will be inspired by the Nishi Daak lore (as covered by Monstrum/Storied on YT) and various Wild Hunt myths & tales.
Overall they are a sinister/foreboding group. They can lure victims to them by mimicking the voice of a loved one (either deceased or living) before killing them; they call this method The Call. They also host Hunts. Hunts are usually reserved for certain nights, or when the Matriarch of the group is feeling particularly savage and/or revengeful. Very rarely do encounters with this group on one of their Hunts or Calls end with the victim surviving. The few Hunts that don't end in death usually end up with the "victim" joining the group.
Matriarchal mostly, though males can attain ranks and are treated as equals.
Familiars will be mostly crows and ravens with the occasional owl.
Still trying to think of what to call this "herd". The name of the group itself will be Nishi Daak but are they a herd, clan, pack, coven, Court..? Open to ideas!

Only Pureshifters can join this group; Cursed I'm still thinking on and if they do join, it'd be a lower rank than the Pures. Overall, this group looks down upon other non-Pures with distain or disgust. Very few will they acknowledge with a modicum of respect.
Non-Shifters cannot join; if any mention of a non-Shifter within the group is made, it would be as NPCs. For example, the group might have NPC Kalona-mixes as "pets" that join them on the Hunts like a pack of dogs. These NPCs would be abducted as baskets/foals on prior Hunts and raised to blindly obey the Matriarch and the Pureshifters, practically worshiping them. They are known as Harbingers.
The only other exception to this rule is in the case of healers; Unis and Kirins (or a mix of the two) may be permitted to visit them on occasion, provided they have a token on them to indicate they are an ally. Otherwise they risk their lives coming uninvited.
Sutis have a grudging respect, while Angeni they avoid while having a wary respect for them. This does not mean, however, that they are permitted to join and/or visit, especially the later.
Charms will not be required to join this group; while they themselves aren't Charmed, they might tolerate those who are, provided they don't try to force Charms upon other un-Charmed members. Should this happen, it will result in execution of the offender while the one who had the Charm forced upon them gets quarantined for observation.

Familiars in this group will mostly consist of crows and ravens with the occasional owl.
They are the airborne scouts and spies, and are the ones often heard calling out when a Hunt is underway. Their eerie calls sounding like hunting horns, joined in with the howls and baying of some of the hunters, can send shivers down the spines of those who hear it. A few are able to mimic the voices of others with unnerving accuracy; beware voices of loved ones calling out to you!
Some also serve as ferrymen to the souls of those that died, be they those from within the group, or for the ones that were unfortunate enough to be Hunted.
(This post is still a WIP.)

Interested in this! For what to call the group, what about an assembly? I think pack fits too. Oh! Or maybe a faction?
