It was that time of year again, Harvest time and there were no other Soquili more eager to get their harvests reaped than, Karma, Citrus Lime, and Edgar.

This year they decided to work together so each workload was evenly distributed.

Karma's beloved harvest came from the water plant life, from seaweed, lilies, to all kinds of healing algae she loved working with medicinal herbs.

Citrus Lime was the one to love planting the eatables, from Fruits to Vegetables, he loved them all and especially loved sharing his harvests.

Edgar was the all or nothing kind of Stallion, and the expert when it came to succulents and any other kind of plant, so his knowledge and help was treasured far and wide withing the Shadow Wolf Tribe.

Since Karma was more of a Ghostly spirit, she struggled when it came to gathering too much. So she was rather slow in her work. If it wasn't for the two other Stallions her works would have gone to waste. How she was ever grateful for every and all of her friends.

Both Citrus Lime and Edgar carried the baskets on their backs, first helping Karma with her harvest, being extra mindful and alert to every instruction she gave about her water plants as she dove down for each and every harvest, bringing up each piece to place in their baskets.

Edgar was careful to setup each piece of seaweed, making sure they were out in the sun to dry properly.

Citrus Lime made sure to place anything that didn't need drying into Karma's home so she could sort each piece in the proper basket.

When it came to Citrus Limes harvest, He was so glad that Edgar could fly and help take down the higher fruits up in all the tree's that bared some ripe and shiny fruits.

Karma came around pushing any baskets on the ground underneath to make gathering easier.

When it came to the vegetation, Each of them took an area and started to pick the ripe and ready vegetables. Karma took on the lighter vegetables as usual. Citrus Lime took on the more Heavier load as he made sure each full basket was moved into the safe house, and Edgar made sure to dig up all the tougher vegetables.

Karma was also kind enough to make sure to clean off the dirty vegetables to the best of her ability.

Afterwords, both Citrus Lime and Edgar dug up the now empty ground, getting it ready for next season. Better than having a stale ground where harvest would struggle. The preparation was very helpful in preventing that.

Next was Edgar's turn, His was a bit more random. As he planted a bit of everything, but most of all medical herbs from the land, and wild berries that needed pruning and preparing for winters cold. You never knew when hunger hit during those times and finding a winter berry nearby would save the day.

Using his paws and claws he was delicate when harvesting certain herbs, placing each into their own labeled baskets. They were to be taken to Karma's home so she could work with them later and it was Citrus Lime who carried each and every one of them to her home, following Karma's instruction on where best to place each basket that was filled.

Once high noon hit they all decided to take a small break to cool off and enjoy a bite to eat. Each agreeing to take a soak in the nearby water.

Each enjoyed their conversation for the hour they stayed in the water. Citrus Lime rambling on and on about his sweetheart Oldwin Rhamses. Karma about her enjoyment and gratefulness to have them both with her on this lovely harvest day, and Edgar in his nerd showing, rambling on and on about all kinds of plants, and all the necessities if not how to care and how to enjoy each one, He made sure not to leave out how to be careful and tell what was poisonous and not as well.

Once their break was done they were back to working on Edgar's harvest.

It wouldn't take long before they finished up, making sure to go back and double if not triple check each Harvest, just to be sure that everything was Harvests, cared for sorted, and properly placed in the right areas.

Once everything was gone though they each thanked one another. Looking forward to the next time they would team up and take care of the Harvest in each and every year to come.
