Drooling over hardware

Yeah, so I remember last new years when I spent my christmas money on some ram and a radeon x800 GTO. my friends were over when the fexex truck pulled up. When I pulled the videocard out, both my friend and I went crazy... while my "girl" friend was just sitting there, blinking in confusion/horror/confusion again.

Describe your experiences "going insane" over new hardware.

Hm... I remember calling all of my friends when I purchased a brand new computer at the end of last year.
Most of them didn't really care, but my friends that are into computers got into long conversations about the details of the computer.

I had to buy some ram for a laptop for someone, I hugged it for a while.

I found a Pentium III chip, it was sooooooooooooooooo cut I decided to keep it.

I bought some ram for my laptop and it was bad. sad

I had to RMA it. Thankfully the second ram that came was good at least.
