personality- Strong-minded and down-to-earth, she has been told that she was the best choice for a queenrider. This sort of clashes with her tendency to play tricks and disappear t secluded places. She is very outgoing, but doesn't like being around people.

bio/history- She was Searched by High Reaches Weyr while at Ruatha Hold. At 14 Turns, she Impressed Mith. During the meeting of Weyrleaders, she was chosen to Search for another suitable Weyr, and discovered Ieirne Weyr.

dragon's personality- As mischevious as her rider and just as intelligent. She has an air of authority around her and easily commands the Weyr. Very self-assured, she doesn't like to be wrong. She is very protective of Lina, so you'd best be careful.

descrition-An average boy, with skin that is tanned, but not a godly bronze. He has shoulder-length dark brown hair that is unusually straight, brown eyes, long fingers, hard muscles, and a voice that is not unpleasant but definately not good enough for a vocalist. He mostly keeps his hair tied back and wears plain tunics and pants. Fortunately for anyone he doesn't take a liking to, he has never been allowed to carry a knife other than the one he eats with.

personality-He's quiet, sensible, considerate, and kind to everyone he likes. But if he decides he doesn't like you, you had better watch out, because he has a rather violent temper. If he doesn't like someone, he will ignore them completely or, if they overstep and make him angry, he will just try to booby trap their room or something else like that. It's generally a good idea to keep out of his way when he's depressed or angry, just for safety's sake. He normally waits to judge people until after he tries getting to know them (on the advice of Bitra's harper).

history/bio-Born to a drunkard and a cheat in Bitra Hold, he didn't have the greatest role models for parents. He hated everything there: his parents, the Lord, the holders, even the few crafters employed there. He began lashing out, fighting people in the streets. He almost beat another boy to death before someone stopped him. His parents didn't want anything else to do with him.

Feeling a bit sympathetic, the harper there took him up under his wing, hoping to give the boy something he liked. It worked for a while, and M'ris could even smile and joke. The harper judged his instrumental skill better than his voice and trained him extensively in all aspects, including making the instruments and understanding drum messages.

M'ris was still a bit violent towards people he didn't like, though, so the harper was reluctant to let him be taken on Search. But with the argument that the boy might do better away from Bitra, which summarized much of his hatred, he was allowed to go.

dragon's personlity-He's shy but playful and very protective of people/dragons he likes. He doesn't much like to be stared at by lots of people, but he will endure it.

age: 21

gender: male

description: F'lin is tall and wiry, with straight black hair cut short and brown eyes, He's tanned from hours on the beach exploring secluded coves, and is flexible and stronger than he looks. He hasn't really filled out, so the white shirts and brown tunics that he normally wear are often baggy if they aren't specially made, so he always wears a thick wher-hide belt and a belt knife he got from his father. He covers his long legs with brown pants and his nimble feet with leather shoes.

personality: He's generally a good-natured sort, always looking out for everyone around him. He never really had a good relationship with his family, so after he's been around people for a while, he sort of adopts them. He's normally acts as a mediator between those who don't get along, since he isn't inclined to fight and looks at a problem from all angles. He is mostly completely neutral, though sometimes he does take sides. He often intervenes when things look like they might evolve into a fight, both verbal and physical.

origin: Ieirne Hold (situated on the coast near Ieirne Island, where the Weyr is)

history/bio: His dad was a masterfishman who didn't have time for his son, and his mom was a journeyman harper in charge of looking after most of the Hold's children and teaching them. He never received any special treament or was loved as more than another of the Hold brats. He grew up trying not to cause trouble and preventing it where it looked likeliest to appear. Because his mother often thought of him as her assistant, he became level-headed and calm in all situations. He learned to think for himself and began to think of new ideas for different problems. Of course, when he was found on Search, he was glad to go. His father had no say, as he was out on a fishing expedition, and his mother hardly noticed what had happened before he was gone.

dragon's peronality- Calm and collected with more sense than some people (although that isn't saying much). He makes friends easily and likes to be around both people and dragons. He is as inclined to adopt others as his family as F'lin.

gender: female

description: She is average height, not too tall and not too short, with red hair cut shoulder-length and green eyes. She is slim and very attractive, though there are probably those better looking. She wears work clothes much of the time, but has several fine Gather dresses that she inherited from her mother.

personality: She likes to be around people, but if someone makes her angry she won't talk to them for a while. Her temper is very mild. She isn't as bold as some weyrfolk, but she isn't as modest as holders either. She isn't ashamed of her body and doesn't cringe at a mating flight. She is generally quick-witted and sometimes has to bite her tongue before she says something mean to someone.

history/bio: She came to the Weyr with her mother, who took ill and passed away not long after arriving. Her father was an unnamed rider, so she was raised as one of the Weyr. She doesn't have any brothers or sisters from her mother, though she isn't sure if her father has sired any half-siblings. She figures that the Weyr is family enough.

pets: blue fire lizard Tril

dragon's name/color- Green Purith

dragon's personality- A friendly, playful dragon, Purith is a very eager and willing young dragon. She likes people, dragons, and fire lizards, and does not mind Tril at all. She is not the least bit jealous that Tyreena likes to spend time with other people, though she does like her friend to herself sometimes. She is a little prideful, as most female dragons are, but not nearly as quick to take offense as Tyreena is. She balances her partner very well.

age: 46

gender: male

description: He is tall and tanned with dark brown hair cut short to fit under his riding helmet. His dark brown eyes are calm with laugh lines at the edges. He is very strong, as all dragonriders must be, but also as quick and confident on his feet and with his fingers as he is riding Micath.

personality: G'ber is a mellow guy, but he can be serious when he feels like it. Generally, though, he likes to be around people. He likes to laugh, but his humor is never used out of place. As the Harper Hall in Fort used to be his home, he is loyal to the Masterharper, but he would do anything for his Weyr within reason.

status: Wingsecond/Weyrharper

origin: Fort Hold/Harper Hall/Fort Weyr

history/bio: When G'ber was only fifteen Turns old, he was Searched by Fort Weyr from the Harper Hall in Fort Hold. He didn't Impress the first clutch, but in the second clutch, laid by the junior queen, he Impressed brown Micath. When the call went out for volunteers to go south to the newly founded Ieirne Weyr, G'ber and Micath gladly joined the others moving there, taking his position as Weyrharper.

dragon's personlity: Kind and generous, Micath is a good match for G'ber. When no one else thought he would Impress, Micath dashed across the sands to claim him. Micath was drawn to G'ber's gentle but strong spirit because a kindred spirit was in him. He is strong but gentle and clear-headed. He is as agile in the air as any brown could hope to be.
