FF12 Question

I know this is a pretty new game, and I might not get an aswer, but, in FF12 (this is a Very minor spoiler, kind of I guess. It's not story related though. Now to take up space. la la la la la la la la la lal la) when you get to rear guard rank in Clan Centurio, the clan provisioner only sells Gysahl greens. What all can you use them for? Can you like, catch chocobos or something?

At the blue crystal save point between Ogir Yensa and Nam Yensa Sandsea, there's a chocobo that will only let you ride it if you have Gysahl greens. I don't know if there're any other places one of those chocobos would be, but I bet there is.

There are "Wayfaring Chocobos" all through out the game. They're in several different areas including; the Mosphorian Highwaste, the Ozmone Plains, the Phon Coast, and I believe the Carobi Steppe as well... but I'm not sure about that one. Pretty much anywhere where there are paths that only chocobos can take there will be a wafaring chocobo near by.
