I was hacked within my first few days. Its called a bumping hack or a popping hack. Your kicked off line, but the popup [town] stays in place. When you log back in, something is missing. I, also, had a run in with a mod in profiles. I'm very limited in what I can so with my profile. My dream avi url was malformed, and it took a while to get my sig working. I got my profile from tektek.org. They didn't help. I had to delete it. My dream avi will not work. I have filled out reports for admin. No response, whatsoever. Thought I would let you know.

Well, I was receiving some password scamming PMs.

One said that I GOT REPORTED and that a mod need to "scan my account" to see if everything is well. Obviously, nobody will ask for your password (even from the staff), so I knew it was false (the username of the hacker was "Modreporter666", bad mistake razz ) and reported the PM (plus a "light" message to the hacker) mrgreen .

Another one said that I was selected to test a new update of zOMG, and there was a link to "that", the page was www.zomgtest.tk (scary, uh?), but then it needed to log in IN GAIA (not zOMG!).*

And the last I received was a link to a page with a form, which, supposedly, if you fill it, you will earn the ammount of gold you want, but you must fill your password too. Also, the site used was a site of free surveys which give the answers to the autor of it (TELLING YOUR PASSWORD TO THE HACKER).

So, remember to be careful with these things guys, and you won't be hacked never (I haven't been hacker never).

*These pages which need to LOG you again to Gaia are false sites which use your cookies (in technical term, lol) to log to your last account you logged in Gaia and instead, send to the hacker the info you filled in the Username and Password text boxes. REMEMBER ALWAYS TO WATCH IF IT SAYS WWW.GAIAONLINE.COM EXACTLY (because some says www.Giaonline.com, www.Gaiaonline.tk, www.Gaaiaonline.com).
