When i'm playing Kingdom Hearts 2, I get a message every now and then saying, "Wow! That's a rare heartless." or something along those lines. Then the heartless and the message dissapper before I can really get a good look at either. Anyone know what this is?

Welll... usually I'd be able to help you.. but I don't ever remember getting a message like that. Though... I completed the beastiary.... weird... I guess I just missed the message... sorry.

It's okay. I'm not even sure what purpose it serves. It just appears sometimes for about 4 seconds when I step out of building, mostly in Halloween Town, though I think I saw it in Agrabah once.
Maybe there's just something really screwed up about my game. sweatdrop

Nope. but if I could i'd get FM when it comes out since they probably won't release it in America. *grudge* I wish I could get a screenshot or something, but i'm dumb when it comes to that stuff... sweatdrop

OH! I know this! It's this gumball dispenser-type machine. There's a triangle command to use when you 'fight' it (Capture, I think) and then you press the buttons in a certain order to get certain things. It shows up in various places (I think the place I've seen it most in the Beast's hallway).

Ummm... *thinks* I know in the Beast's Castle you have to attack the armour to draw it out. I'm fairly certain it's like hide and seek, therefore break everything around. =D

It's okay. Though usually it happens to me in Halloween Town, in place with nothing to break. But i'll keep that in mind next time I see it. biggrin

yeah, it is a gumball thing! i know in Aladin land (don't know what's called) you have to destroy the tents! in Mulan land you have to destroy the the little cart things! but, you still have to look around for them...

There is a way you can attack it and get something special from it.
I haven't played KH for a while, but I've gotten that message several
times and I see a rare heartless appear - it was exciting when I finally
got orchilicum from it and something else, I forget.
