I'm cooking chili tonight (I've never cooked it before in my life). It's going to be me adding spices until something is reasonably palatable.

My chili wasn't supposed to be anything like the picture (that picture was just the best picture of chili I coud find in a quick google search.

My chili was primarily defined by the oregano and paprika, my mom wouldn't allow me to add enough chili peppers to make it rock. stare

therefore i always carefully add those frijoles.

i add cayenne, jalapeno, oregano, garlic, salt and cumin as my spices.
