~*::Introduction::*~

Hidden deep in an extremely dark forest, there is a mansion.....A mansion that is always covered by rain clouds that pour with out stop. A never ending storm. Winds would blow the rain harshly and the lightning would light up the black clouds. Loud crashes of thunder would echo through the halls. Despite looking ratted, old and worn, the mansion was all but abandoned. Inside, lived seven beings, bound to the mansion by a spell. They had all entered the mansion at one point, but not one was ever able to break the spell and escape the dark home. Not even death would allowed them to leave. The spell had truly cursed them to roam the halls forever as immortals. All of them were supernatural, mysterious monsters. Vampires, lycans, ghosts, and other such creatures. Another thing the seven had in common was that they each portrayed traits of the Seven Deadly Sins: Pride, Sloth, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Greed, and Envy. The group had noticed that and dubbed each other on which sin they portrayed.

It had been over a thousand years of being trapped in the mansion and not one had ever died or escaped. As though through fate, seven humans wandered into the forest one way or another and found themselves seeking shelter in the mansion. Ironically, all of those seven held the personalities of the Seven Holy Virtues : Humility, Diligence, Patience, Abstinence, Chastity, Kindness, and Liberality. Once inside, all of those seven became bound to the mansion as well, unable to escape through the doors nor death.

Will they find the truth of why they had been bound to the mansion in the first place? Will there finally be freedom? Was the curse truly placed upon the mansion so the Seven Sins and Seven Virtues may come together?

(Note: The sins and virtues that oppose each other do not need to fall for each other should you feel your character must fall for someone. A sin and another sin could fall for each other. Virtuexvirtue works, too. Don't feel pushed to end up with the sin or virtue opposing you!)

~*::Setting::*~


The large, dark mansion is the only place the fourteen my roam. The curse does not even allow them one step outside the door. Again, there is a constant thunder storm looming over the mansion. Never has any of the inhabitants ever seem the sun shine through the dark, heavy clouds. For some odd reason, there is fresh running water in the house. As for lights, numerous candles are hung on the wall. They would need to be lit should anyone needed to see around. The candles are also removable. You can take them off the wall and walk around with it if you couldn't bother to light the rest.

As for the rooms and such, I leave it to you to use your imagination. A library, a kitchen, a great dinning room, bedrooms galore. It's up to you!

~Fighting is allowed. What fighting is going to occur, I don't know. Perhaps a sin and a virtue or two sins or two virtues aren't getting along. Again, this is up to you.

Pride
(In almost every list Pride is considered the original or most serious sin. It is identified as a desire to be more important or attractive to others, failing to give credit due to others, or excessive love of self)

Race:She's...a zombie basically. However, her flesh does not rot. Since she is dead, her body is always cold and she no longer has a heart beat.
Sin:Sloth
Personality:More than other sins, the definition of Sloth has changed considerably since its original inclusion in the list. It has been characterized as what modern thinkers would describe as apathy, depression, and joylessness. Kari was happy and smiling before her death. She loved to go out side when there wasn't a storm. After her death, she became quiet and secluded herself. She never smiles and even if she did, it would be small and lacking spirit. Kari keeps to herself and almost rarely talks to the others. Only should they try to strike up a conversation will she speak. Otherwise, she remains quiet except for the random mumbling to herself when alone.
Bio:Kari was murdered in the mansion long ago by the man who originally lived there. She had been taken from her sleep and placed in a tub where she had been drowned. It is unknown to even her why exactly why the man had drowned her ansd still she wanders the halls wondering why. Her body had been placed in the cellar area of the mansion, but for some reason, she rose back from the dead body and all. Her body itself is dead, but does not rot and is always cold as ice. Not to long after she had died, the late-owner of the mansion cursed it and Kari could no longer even go out to sulk in the rain. She guessed her flesh no longer rots because of something having to do with the spell. She now spends her time wandering the halls in a gloomy manner. Kari can no longer sleep nor does she feel hunger. She had read all books in the library two times over with all her free time she has. (Note:Kari herself was the very first and had been stuck in the mansion longer than any of the other sins.)

Other:Kari hates light all together and is found in the darkest areas of the house. Her room is located high up on the top floor of the mansion, but she rarely goes in there for she really can not sleep at all.

(Inappropriate feelings of hatred and anger. Denial of the truth, both to others and in the form of self-denial. Impatience with the law, or seeking revenge outside of justice, such as with unnecessary vigilantism. Wishing to do evil or harm to others.)

Sin:Wrath
Personality: Wrath, synonymous with anger, rage and fury. When a person is so mad that the only way they know how to talk is with their hands or a weapon. Anything can spark the anger, a look, a touch, even the wind, there is no controlling it. And once it starts, there is no stopping it until it had run its course. Alecto may appear calm and peaceful at first sight, but she’s a raging inferno ready to explode. She feels extreme needs to lash out at anyone who seems at peace, disliking that the have something she can’t remember feeling.
Bio: What her original name is or her past life, she no longer remembers anything about. All she remembers is the anger and pain she feels deep within her. This intense rage threatens to consume her alive when she doesn’t act upon it in some way. While skimming a book on mythology, she came across the name Alecto, a fury, and decided to make it her own, symbolizing her rage.
Appearance: Alecto is short, about 5’5 with very pale skin and long, dark curly hair. She tends to wear black outfits made of form fitting material. Alecto
Other: Alecto is fond of torture and carries concealed weapons on her at all times. She can be found in the basement areas of the mansion, "playing" with the rats.

(Lust is usually thought of as involving obsessive or excessive thoughts or desires of a sexual nature. Unfulfilled lusts can lead to sexual or sociological compulsions and/or transgressions including sexual addiction, adultery, bestiality, and rape.)

Sin: Lust
Personality(This should have something to do with the sin you have chosen to be): Before her death, Sasha was a girl who controlled her emotions well and was reserved. Now she has difficulty controlling herself. Always finding something naughty to say, or in what others say, she loves to flirt and has a lot of pent up energy and loses her temper every now and then. If she ever loses her temper at someone, after a few hours she would try to find that person to make up for her terrible behavior.
Bio: Sasha grew up in a village in the middle of a forest. Not many could find her village, with the exceptions of those who lived there or other elves. She was taught how to fight with many different types of weapons. She was a representative for her village and was invited to this mansion for a ball. She was not keen to the idea of leaving her village just for a party, but her fellow villagers convinced her, thinking that the man who lived here wanted to talk about politics. The man got Sasha alone on a stairwell and pushed her over the edge; to fall many flights down to her death. Ever since then, she has wondered why he did such a thing. However, she keeps this to herself and just roams around, trying to find something to do.

Other: If she is nowhere to be found, she could surely be found in her room, in a tower on the East wing.

(Greed is, like Lust and Gluttony, a sin of excess. However, Greed *as seen by the Church* applied to the acquisition of wealth in particular.)

Envy
(Like Greed, Envy is characterized by an insatiable desire, however the two sins differ for two main reasons. Firstly, Greed is normally associated with material wealth, whereas Envy can apply to other concepts, like love or success. Secondly, those who commit the sin of Envy desire something that someone else has.)

((My first post....))

Kari walked slowly through the dark halls, her long, torn black dress dragging on the floor. Her ebony black hair flowed gently behind. Her eyes were saddened and lifeless. Her pale skin was almost white as snow. Kasumi face was filled with sorrow. Her usual mood. She was always looking down and depressed. The reason for which she was dubbed as the sin Sloth. After a while all seven had realized they all portrayed traits of the seven deadly sins and had dubbed each other one of the sins. Kasumi could have cared less, really. She just kept to herself and left them to do whatever they did to keep themselves busy.

Kari stopped to look out one of the large windows. The storm that had been crashing against the mansion for more than a thousand years non-stop was still there, coming down as hard as ever. A bright flicker of light filled the sky, illuminating the dark clouds above. A loud crashing sound followed, echoing through the halls. The light from the window lit up the halls, showing how much Kasumi's white skin contrasted against her pitch black hair.
"Such a beautiful night...."She whispered in a saddened tone, gazing at the rain soaked ground outside. How she longed to go out and be soaked to the bone. Kasumi could still remember how good the rain felt before she had died....before she had been cursed to never leave the dark mansion.....

Kari continued her little stroll down the hall. That all she ever did these days. Walked. Wandering through the dark, quiet mansion. She had already explored every corner of the gigantic home. It's all she had to do. Kari had read all of the books in the library, too. After so many years in the mansion, one would do anything to keep themselves occupied. Now, she got used to the boredom and just sulked as she walked through the ever so familiar mansion.

Her footsteps were soft and silent. She moved gracefully like a ghost, like she was hovering above the ground. Her long black hair would flow gently as she slowly walked. Kari almost always kept her eyes to the floor. She wasn't looking at it of course. She was starring blankly. Her thoughts flooding her head. The thoughts though, were quite depressing. She was always thinking about death, why she was killed, why she wouldn't just lay to rest, why she could never leave the mansion. Her eyes, dark and gloomy, would seem to be looking past things.

Sasha walked down the oh so familiar hallway, running her hand along the wall. She was headed to one of the master bathrooms. Her silk red skirt dragged behind her, the edges worn from the decades that passed by slowly. She sighs to herself, and thinks about the large bathtub that awaited her. Taking long baths was one of the things she enjoyed doing to help pass the time. She snorted to herself at the thought of time. At the time, lightening brightened up the sky, followed by a crash of thunder. In the dim light, one could see that Sasha's hair, once a beautiful shade of golden blond, had faded to white from the lack of sunlight, and her face was usually cast in sadness.

The others had dubbed her as the sin Lust, for she was always finding something naughty to do or say. She couldn't help it. Sasha sighed again. "Why was I killed?" She asked this question a lot. There was nothing else to do to keep her mind occupied. She knew there was no one around to hear her question, nor to answer it. She continued to walk on towards her bath.

Alecto sat in her room, suprisingly content. Her body was sprawled in an awkward angle across the sofa. Normally she would be in the basement area "playing", but the storm outside caught her attention. The sheer power and violence it caused was simply breath taking. "Now if only there were a way to harness that raw energy or project it myself," she said aloud to no one in particular. She flipped herself over and went to stand by the wind, watching the flashes of lightening. "So pretty," she said, placing her left hand on the glass.

That's when it started. At first it was just a tingly sensation in her finger tips. It then travelled up her arm and rotated her shoulder. The sensation then crawled up her neck, exciting the nerves as it went. Alecto pulled a knife for the small of her back, twirled it in her right hand for a moment, then looked back out the window. She watched the lightening with an odd gleam in her eyes. Smirking, she quickly exited her room and headed toward the basement, dragging the knife along the wall as she went.

Blaze exited his room in search of something to amuse his boredom. One can only stay in the same house for so long before getting a little squirly, and he had lost track of how long he'd been here long ago.

He emediately headed towards the giant mirror at the end of the hall that sat proudly up on the wall, waiting to behold his gorgeous face. He was in this forsaken house because of this wonderous face, but never once would he trade it in for another.

When he reached the glorious mirror, lined with glittering gold, he couldnt help but wink at his own beatiful reflection. Lookin' good!

That's when he noticed Alecto with her knife along the wall. "What are you doing?" he asked with curiosity.

Alecto slowed down as she heard her name. She looked up and saw Blaze, standing in front of the hall mirror, again. A slow smile spread across her face as her eyes travelled back and forth between Blaze and the mirror. She took a step foward, calculating the amount of force she would need to apply in her head, when another loud crash of lightning echoed throughout the house. Alecto stepped back, a different smile adorning her face. She stepped foward again, stopping directly in front on Blaze. "I'm going to go . . . play," she stated, slowly rocking back and forth between him and the mirror. "Do you want to come?" She asked, leaning foward, stopping inches from his face, the sardonic smile still in place.

Personality(This should have something to do with the sin you have chosen to be): Utterly Romantic and Wise, he plays games with women's minds, and does his best to win their hearts, he is above all else a predator, but he always seems to get too attached, he his flirtatious, and sweet but only in the pursuit of his desires. His desire itself is always possession, he wants to have it all, it must be his, he thinks of himself as a collector of pretty things, money, art, women, anything.
Bio: Born in Britain centuries ago to a Nobleman he never had to worry about anything, money, horses, fine paintings, women, they came to him readily, and he easily toyed with them. Until finally when he fell in love, he was to meet her in the forest he rode for days searching for her until he finally found the mansion that he decided to take as his own but is now his prison.
Appearance: 5' 11", Blonde hair and golden eyes, he is thin and muscular, and wears clothes that are made of silks and satins, to remind the flesh of other soft textures.
Other: Though he is a vampire he never drinks from an unwilling host, and he never rapes. He feels that if the things he desires are not given to him freely, then he has does not truly own it, he will not take by force and if he is forced to do so he feels that he has lost the game, and could not control himself.
