The kingdom of Gal'Te'Ra

OK, I'm new at this whole RPing thing, so forgive anything that doesn't make sense! OK, the setting is:

The great kingdom of Gal'Te'Ra is being invaded by an army twice its size. Some have chosen to flee into the forest, stay and fight, or join the enemy forces. The king of Gal'Te'Ra is ruled by a cruel king, but the king is not so cruel as the king of the enemy kingdom, Omn'Ka. (This is set in a time where there's no technology, btw) I want 7 main characters, but I guess there could be more.
