" i just wanted to hear a story before my test" she replied flipping her black brade behind her shoulder.

"no. figthing a demon bare handed... not the best way to spend a birthday!"
" i understand." suddenly a scream was heard outside and multiple cries of "Mainlander"were heard. It was not wise to walk upon the Continent if you were a mainlander in the time of war, but somebody must have had a life to spare. Keirae ran to the door just to peek out. a young girl, wolf demon i looked like, was struggiling furiously, showing no sign of fear.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" Konu yelled furiously stomping out of the mansion.
"Konu," said keiraes mother, Lady Misonie, her injured husband " its not wise in your state to be up and about. What if..."
"She is a tresspasser Misonie! For all we know she could be a spy!"
"SESSHOMARUUUUU! KYOU WARE!" the girl spoke
"KEEP HER RESTRAINED!" Konu yelled "THE DEMON OF THE WESTERN LANDS IS COMING! STAND YOUR GROUND."
"Konu is this really nessessary?" Misonie asked
"It’s the only way in these times of war."
Rustling could be heard as a dog demon named sesshomaru came through the bushes followed by and imp named Jaken and a dragon named AH-UN
"Hand over my sister," he said with sincirity “and i won’t harm anyone in this village."
“She isnt even of your blood. Shes not your true sister so why worry about her." the girl was trying almost as hard as her brother to keep her rage down not to get into trouble.
“I say again. Hand her over."
"SHUT UP MAINLANDER!" yelled a guard. This made Sesshomaru tick. He charged at the injured lord. At that Keirae ran out
"STOP THIS FOOLISHNESS!" She yelled “we’re already in the midst of war.do we need any more fighting. Let her go!"
"KEIRAE!" yelled her father “I AM..."
"ABOUT TO PASS THE LEADERSHIP TO ME! I SHOULD BE TAKING CONTROL OF THE SITUATION! LET HER GO... NOW!" the guards, as stunned as frightend, let the wolf demon go. She ran to her brother and the walked off without any remourse.
"HEY!! KEIRAE!" yelled the next in line to lead the Neighboring clan the Neko clan and keiraes best friend, Midoriko “was that the guy you fought?
"no. my test...'
"Is over keirae." her father said “standing up to me and showing mercy like your mother is enought to prove your ready." he handed her the sword OniKasai (demon fire)
"Are you serious? THANKS!" she ran to the mansion with midorkio.
“Do you really think shes ready?" asked Misonie
"Yes. With you’re humanly emotions and her full blood shes ready"
"Well it’s not the full blooded demon in her im worried about. Im just afraid that one of these days shes going to get her heart crushed."
"Im sure she'll be fine. Come now dear. Its time for bed."
