Melissa looks up and sees David. Her mind seemed blank, she felt like she didn't know anything. "Are you ok?" David asked her. He was kneeling down next to her. Melissa nods quickly. She saw a dark figure standing at the entrance of the cave. David glanced at the figure and said to Melissa,"That is a Dark Shadow. They wonder to sleeping people and mess with their mind." Melissa nodded again. "can't you say something?" David asked "Something" Melissa replied. David rolled his eyes but before he could say anything Melissa said "How long have I been asleep?" "A couple days....Lenny came to me and I fallowed him here" David said, looking conserned. "Who's Lenny" Melissa said. She heard the Dark Shadow snicker outside of the cave. David looked at the shadow "What did you do to her?" he demanded in an angry voice. "I took away her memory. She's never getting it back" said a deep voice, then the shadow disappeared. david looked at Melissa "Do you know who I am?" he asked her. Melissa hesitated, then shook her head no. David leaned down and pressed her lips against hers. Melissa's mind was spinning. She pulled away, confused "David?" she asked. David nodded and hugged her. MElissa was now really confused and said "What? It isn't like I had memory loss or something." "You have no idea" David replied. "David...." Melissa said after a long silence. "What?" David said, telling her to continue. "I-I really like you and..." She said, now really being able to continue. "I like you too" he said. His face was close to hers, their breath mingled. A tear fell from her eye and she pulled away. "Whats wrong" he asked her. Melissa wiped the tear away and said "Nothing" But there was alot wrong...
