	Just A Poem

I find it hard
to concentrate,
when I want so much
to see your face.

Your beautiful smile.
Your dark brown hair.
I am here,
but sadly you are there.

I miss it more
than I thought I would.
I love you more
than i thought I could.

But it won't happen.
Because you see,
we're on different worlds
you and me.

Different worlds
same planet.
A border that CAN be crossed....
Can't it?

Gone today.
Here tomorrow.
Until then
I'll hide my sorrow.

Behind a mask
of my own kind of deception.
Just don't take it
as a misconception.

For I want
to love you, you see.
But I just don't know,
how you could ever love me.

Damaged goods.
For sale as is.
But you can have
my heart like it is.

But that won't happen,
not with you.
I just won't get close
enough for you to.

But I want to be loved
for real this time.
Because I can't trust anyone
like last time.

I can't believe it!
I'm dazed and confused
and I can't explain.
Why I love you.

I've given it some thought,
now i know.
Loving you
Is hurting me so.

The pieces throb.
The edges tear,
they're falling off
from here to there........

But I still love you.............
