This is dedicated to my grandmother, who passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2007.
Grandmother
Four years old and no where to go,
We wouldn't have been a family,
But yout hrew away your comfort,
And brought us to your family tree

You were the perfect example,
You showed us unconditional love,
You brought us together under your wing,
As the protective wing of a mother dove.
We had our good times and bad,
We laughed and cried together,
We never played and never needed to,
You were the glue that held us together.

You never asked anything in return,
Even while we made a fuss.

You acted strangely,
