Forgive the stalling of chapter three lol
Chapter 3, Saved
I lost track of time as I laid unmoving in my cell. They stopped attempting to make me eat after awhile and the only thing to keep me company was rats that decided to take nest in the corner. I never moved, I never slept, I never ate, I never did anything but stare into nothingness as I repeatedly heard the cries and rants of those who now took residence inside my body. And then, I heard a new voice, a female's voice.
"Greed! I found one! Hey, are you ok kid?" The woman asked with a quiet voice. More footsteps approached me as I tried to speak, but all that came out was a strangled groan.
"Well well well, those damn bastards went and made a half homunuclui." A male's voice said with what seemed to be irritated surprise. As they lifted me up from the ground I managed to look at the two strangers who had entered my cell.
A red haired young woman with the oddest markings on her face and a man with dark spiked brown hair and oddly pointed teeth looked down at me.
The woman frowned. "look at him, he looks like death warmed over." The man laughed "Heh, that's putting it nicely don't you think?"
"Oh shut up and help me with him will you?"
"Yeah yeah, who made YOU boss? I'm the one who saved YOU remember?" The man said smirking as he started picking me up. I was too weak to really care at that moment so I just let them do as the pleased. Before I passed out again I heard the Woman say in a sympathetic voice "Don't worry kid, We're getting out of here. For GOOD."
That's it for this super short chapter. I have the basic idea of what will happen next, im just having fun trying to put it in writing lol.
