We never knew something like this could happen to me or to you,
The young don't die and leave parents left to greave and cry.
No one thought this would be a lesson that would be taught,
Now were all sorry for the times that we fought.
Hopes and dreams, the delicate things,
Nothing left but a shattered scene,
We loved you with all we had,
But God wanted you just as bad.
We don't know why he took you that day,
All those words, no one now can say.
Pictures of you will remind us of you brilliant face,
Your memories will never be erased.
Those of us who knew you well will see you forever and always dwell.
Sometimes we swear we see you in the hall,
Our hearts start to race,
But then we see, its not you after all.
Your seat is unset in; it’s for you alone,
In our hearts you have a home.
We hear people say you’re gone,
But we just shake our heads and say.
We will see her again... Some day....Some way....
