Okay, I'm bored, so I think I'll review some games from the systems of yesteryear, the Gamcube and PS2
Devil May Cry 3 10/10 Possibly one of the coolest games for the goth generation. In the game, you play a decidedly sociopathic half-devil named Dante, who has some serious family issues. His brother, Vergil, and he constantly try to kill each other, and the main antagonist ((I'll try not to reveal any spoilers)) uses this to his advantage, to try to open the gateway to hell, in order to access the power of Sparda. With five different weapons, five different guns, and six different styles to master ((including the availability of Vergil if you have the Special Edition)) This game is a keeper, with deep replayability, beautiful graphics, incredible sound ((including music)) and heart pumping action. Awesome
Custom Robo 7/10 From Japan, Custom Robo is an anime-esque game, where you play as an aspiring Robo commander. At first, this seems and sounds like a great title, and the intro animation greatly raises expectations. However, once you get into the game, those expectations are dashed with crummy graphics, lame animations, and extremely restrictive gameplay. There isn't even any voice over work done, nor is there any really good music. This game seems more suited for a handheld than a platform. However, there are some redeeming points that make this game worth a look. The actual Robo gameplay is very fun. As you dart around the virtual battlefield, blasting your opponent with guns, bombs, and pods, you may see the potential this game has. Also redeeming this game is the immense customization of the robo. With countless combos of bodies, guns, bombs, pods, and boosters, you can keep changing them, and still have many more to go through. Overall, a bit dissappointing, but a good game.
