Teehee...while I wasn't in Guang Zhou, I ate lots of yummy delicious food!!!! Some of them looked frightening....and some were just weird. Here are some of my fav foods I ate:
Deep Fried Fish on a Stick (YUM)
Swan (Teehee)
Stinky Tofu (........smells kinda...stinky..but tastes good!)
Spicy Dog Fish(?!) on a Stick
Horse Meat Sausage (delicious!)
Rabbit!
Sea Snails(???)
Super Spicy Lamb Kabobs
I forgot to add....deep fried shrimp on a stick! teehee. u can eat the head! (the shell's still on too! CRUNCHY)
and more....i just can't remember it all.
Family Secrets! So far, I've learned lots of stuff about my family since I came to China.
1) My grandma's oldest sister married her cousin! (le gasp!)
2) My grandma's oldest sister never got her period. ( so sad.....)
3) My grandma's third oldest sister gave birth to five children. One died. One got adopted by my grandma's oldest sister.
4) My uncle (dad's youngest brother) got adopted by my grandpa's (dad's dad) younger brother.
5) My grandpa has a half-brother.
6) My great-grandma is turning 100.
7) Lots of people in my family smoke ( probably over 10).
hmm..more to come? not sure. but ya...
Questions:
What would you call one of your parent's cousin's son/daughter??? cuz i have lots of them!!!! The oldest one is 27 and is going to get married, and the youngest one is 11 (going to be in the sixth grade).
Wow...that was a long journal entry! I'll write more about my adventrues in Xin Jiang later. >.<
