*stares* *is braindead* wow this is old...i forgot why i stopped to...must have had a writers block or sumthing....
Chapter 1
Mist swam along the ground hued in the dimly lit night of the crescent moon. A figure stood motionless gazing up at the midnight sky. His bright blue eyes seemed to look off into the distance as if not really looking at the moon itself. Anyone who saw this being would have thought 'armed and dangerous' for he carried two lethal katanas and four hand guns. If they had the courage to approach him they would find worried 17 year old trying to protect others from a terrible secret...
He smiled slightly gazing at the open void that they called the sky. His dark blue hair blew slightly in the calming wind. It was then when he felt the presence of another. He turned around with a sigh "Finally..." his voice barely a whisper.
Through the shadows of the mist a man dressed entirely in black approached the boy.
He stopped a few feet away and glared at the teen with hateful eyes. "You’re lucky I came" he growled. The boy smiled “Well you're lucky I haven't killed you. So... what information do you have from the Realm?" The dark figure crossed his arms 'Hmph...Pathetic child' he thought. 'It was only luck that I was beaten by him. Then again...it was luck that let him spare my life.'
"Oy Oy!" The man snapped out of it only to see the teen poking him continuously in the arm. "You spaced out for a sec...”
"Oh" the man grunted.
“Well?"
"Well what?"
The boy rolled his eyes. "The Realm? Information? Hellooo?"
"Oh that," the man shrugged. "They said they found him."
The boy stood in shock before he shouted "WHAT?! When did they learn anything of the Time Guardian?! Damn. I need to find him before they do...who knows what-" The teen started ranting off. The taller one continued. "Well they found WHEN but not WHERE yet..."
The blue eyed teen turned to him anxiously and gasped "When? When? WHEN?!"
"Chill it! They said 2009 ok? Now look they, the Realm that is...all their effort for centuries was trying to find out WHEN he is...It will probably take them even longer to find out WHERE he is!"
"...I guess you right- but for now I need to go to the Time Shrine..."
"Hold on a sec" said the man. "You...YOU ...you know where the Time Guardian is? Wow you sure are talented, Twiggy" The taller figure was quite surprised by this bit of information.
"Who else would know it but me? And my name isn't Twiggy!" he stated. "Well then what is your name?" asked the man. "Now that I think about it you don’t even know mine either. Im Daemon. You are?"
The boy chuckled lightly "I don’t think so ... I know what you Realm mages can do with someone’s name... but for now you can call me 'Kai'"
"Alright then Kai... I suppose you want me to gather information right?" said the mage. "No, I want you to lie low for a bit ok?" he started to walk away. "I’ll summon you in a few days..."

A/N!
Here is a short summary of how Daemon came to work for Kai.
Well to under stand it...'Daemon is with the enemy the Realm ...he 'bumped' into Kai (who was sneaking around looking for information on when the time guardian was) and it started to become a fight...Daemon lost but Kai spared his life if he Swore he would join him and the 'Time Keepers ( lame needs new name) so he’s kind of like a double agent ya know? Oh and EVERYONE knows that once a Realm mage swears something it cant be broken ...unless that mage wants a very painful death.
Chapter2

‘Ug...bored...so bored...stupid health class' Jikan sighed slamming her head down on the desk. 'Snooze...need more snooze.’ The comfort of sleep almost overcame her until- "Hogosha Jikan! Are you sleeping in my class?!” screamed the teacher. Jikan jerked her head up wide awake. "ngrfm uh...no Miss Taikutsuna" "hmph fine...now pay attention" The teacher turned her back and began writing on the board again. Jikan yawned and looked to the clock. 9: 14...
She slumped in her chair pouting. 'An hour and sixteen more minutes of this and I swear I will die in here!' She slowly looked towards the window. The light hit face revealing her raven hair and sea green eyes. She sighed looking at the clear day through the window and blinked slowly. 'If only things were a bit faster...' Jikan jumped with a start as the bell suddenly rang. Everyone got up and left the class. "Huh?" Jikan looked at the clock. 10:30...
Several Emotions overcame her: fear, happiness, relief, and curiosity. "I guess it was real...im defiantly not dreaming this time" she mumbled. She grabbed her things but was stopped by her friend Aki. “Where were you? I swear you were in class and the next thing I know you’re gone!”
“U-um Aki. I was there the whole time” stated Jikan. Aki just shook her head “Where did you go? Did you ditch? Or” Aki suddenly gasped and looked at Jikan slyly. “Were you with a guy?”
“What? No! Im failing almost all of my classes! What makes you think I have time for a guy?” Aki smirked “I dunno… I heard there’s a new kid who started class yesterday. And from what I hear he’s pretty good looking…”
“Ok you can just stop right there. Look I gotta go to class, ok?” Jikan sighed desperately.
“Oh fine… see ya Jikan!” Aki waved and turned around. Jikan paused for a sec and called out “Aki!”
“Yea?”
“Was it just me or did time go by really fast in health to day”
“Are you insane? It was slow as hell! And you weren’t even there for half of it!”
Jikan waved to Aki and walked down the hallway deep in thought. ‘ Not there? I was there the whole time! This only happened once before and that was only because I couldn’t wait for my favorite show to come on… Now that I think about it, this whole thing started around this week.’
Jikan shook her head and hurried off to Algebra 2.
Algebra 2...Now THERE was a class Jikan enjoyed. Well a little. Truth be told, she's actually failing the class. She never understood the point about x = y and the value of some kids bike and his friends or whatever.
The teacher was the only one who noticed Jikan's ‘gift’. Well others would call it stubbornness or stupidity but Jikan could solve any problem that has to do with time. Jikan herself doesn't even know why, but its just 'easy as pie' to her. The raven haired girl entered the room and sat in her usual seat, thinking about what just happened. ‘Why doesn't anyone else notice?' she wondered as the bell rang for class to begin.
Mr. Bangou walked to the front of the board and wrote down today’s assignment. 'Matrices'.
"pfft" Jikan was already not paying attention.
She knew she wouldn't get this. 'I wonder' she thought. 'Maybe I can try THAT again' and so she tried. She thought about the time. 10:12…and wished for it to be... 2:30 when school gets out...She concentrated long and hard, screwing her eyes shut.
Suddenly she felt everything moving around her, like it was moving fast. As quick as it came it ceased. Jikan slowly opened her eyes and looked at the clock 2:45 Jikan frowned. 'I wanted 2:30... Why 2:45? Unless...' she looked at the seat she was in. 'This is my friends desk last period of the day... so that means...i went further until she was not sitting here anymore...wow'
"Miss Hogosha? I didn’t see you there... Have you come for extra credit again?" Jikan jumped and saw Mr. Bangou behind her. "uhh no I j-just ummm bye" She grabbed her bag and ran out of the class room.
'What’s happening? This only started happening a few days ago! And why has no one noticed?!' Her thoughts were everywhere and didn’t even notice she ran out of the building until she bumped into someone and fell to the ground.
Jikan looked up to see a boy around her age wearing the same uniform as her. His deep blue hair offset his icy blue eyes that glared at her. She looked down mumbling an apology.
"Sheesh what’s got you in such a hurry?" asked the boy holding out a hand to help her up.
"Nothing...im just late...I should have left ages ago..." She accepted his hand and slowly got up. "Huh yeah right...you were running right at my like you couldn't see me."
Jikan looked up at the sky seeing it was darker than it should be. "Um Do you know what time it is?" The boy lifted his sleeve hesitantly. While he glimpsed at the time Jikan could swear she saw 6 other watches on his arm.
"4:37 why do you ask?"
"What! It was 2:45! I must be going crazy here! I didn’t even DO anything! This only started to happen Sunday! WHAT is going ON?!"
Throughout her rant the boy stood watching the girl curiously 'She couldn’t be... could she? No way...from what I read he is suppose to be calm and collected, always knows what he’s doing...not THIS...She's probably a loon'
"Yeah ok im gonna go now..." Jikan didn’t even notice him walk away.
Suddenly a car came down street and stopped right by Jikan. The window was rolled down only to see a very scary and very worried woman. "JIKAN HOGOSHA!"
The boy froze in his tracks…
"Where have you been? I've been worried Sick! We thought you were kidnapped! Never do this again you here me? You’re lucky we're going on vacation as a family otherwise you'd be grounded!"
"Yes ma...sorry ma..." Jikan slowly got in the car and shut the door.
The boy turned around just in time to see the license plate number on the car before it drove off.
He stood there for a moment shaking his head slightly.
“Wow" he mumbled. "Did we ever get THIS one wrong...” He looked to the direction in which the car left and smirked.
"Jikan Hogosha...Time Guardian"
He started to head back to his 'base' when he froze again. "Wait a minute...a GIRL?!"
Chapter 3

Jikan sighed looking out at the ocean from her balcony. 'Thank god its Spring Break, I don't think I could handle any more school at the moment' she thought.
It’s been two days since the 'incident' at school. Her mother decided she would let her still go with them to their 'vacation house' as long as she "tells her when she wants to stay after school to talk to a boy rather than make her worry"
Jikan scoffed ' I didn't even know the guy. Yet I have a weird feeling I was suppose to....whatever what’s done is done...I’m just happy things are back to normal'
yes things were back to normal. She realized this when she first arrived at the beach house. Jikan wanted the sun to go down faster to see the sunset. She wished it with all her might yet… Nothing happened.
She sighed and stood up. She suddenly had the urge to walk on beach. Going downstairs she notices the clock... 2:56
"be back at 5" her mother called.
"Alright" She made sure she wore her watch before heading out.
Jikan walked down the beach at a slow but steady pace, her eyes looking down at the shells in the sand. She continued down the beach for what felt like an hour. Jikan eventually found herself at a Big boulder lying on the beach.
She smiled. Her family always called it 'Jikan's spot' because if she wasn't anywhere else she would defiantly be here.
Jikan slowly climbed to the top of the rock and gazed at the sky.
Something was wrong...
The sun was setting...
She lifted her wrist to see the time... 5;30
Her breath hitched in her throat. It was happening AGAIN. She quickly got off the boulder and turned around to head home, only to come face to face with.
"You!" Jikan stared at the boy with blueish black hair and ice like eyes.
The boy raised an eyebrow "Me? Oh yeah I never introduced myself. I'm...Kai...and you need to follow me Jikan Hogosha."
"How do you know my name? And why are you here?"
"I'm suppose to know your name...and the reason I am here...is for you Time Guardian...now come on" He grabbed Jikan hand and before she knew it she was running...no being dragged along was more the term.
"What? Let go of me! Where are you taking me?"
"Some place where no one will see the portal open"
"What are you talking about?" but before she got an answer they stopped in front of a big warehouse building. The door was already opened slightly.
"Follow me" the boy gestured to the door.
“No!"
"...what did you say?"
"I said no! Im not going in there until I know what's going on! What's happening? Why is time speeding up randomly? Why is no one else affected by it other than me? What is this time thingy you called me? You know all the answers for my questions I can tell! Now tell me!"
The boy smiled "Well at least we were right about the Time Guardian being cautious" he mumbled. He looked up at Jikan “You are the Time Guardian. you have been since you were born...Time hasn't been changing randomly...it is only happening because you are responding to this..."
Kai took a golden object from his jacket pocket it seemed like a pocket watch but there were too many numbers and hands than there should be.
Jikan looked at it in confusion.
"It reacts to the Time Guardian" he explained. "When this is in a few mile radius of the Guardian, Time will become very sensitive and will shift when not wished to do so" He suddenly grabbed the shocked Jikan and pulled her into the Warehouse.
He raised it up to the air and light started to glow around it. The watch then shot a beam of light into the air. The light grew until it was formed into a door like shape.
He turned to see Jikan staring at the portal in fear and wonder. He walked up her and took her hand. "Come on. We must go now..."
It was just too much for her bear. A million thoughts were running through Jikan's head. One in particular kept popping up so she asked "why?"
Kai seemed to stare at nothing and spoke slowly "There are others... who want your power on their side... to do horrible, terribly things...even if your not with them they will try anyways and many lives will be lost...we need your help to prevent this"
Before she could ask anything else Kai scooped her up and jumped up in the air with inhuman agility. As they fell through the portal he whispered to her "don't worry... Your light will vanquish your own darkness..."
As soon as they were in the portal vanished leaving nothing behind.
