Okay, so the main rant I have today is about zOMG. Ever since the first day they allowed the '07 accounts to play, I have been stuck in the ******** sewers. None of the Devs or Mods care about the members anymore, it seems. I've brought this issue up several times, and received a few PMs saying that they will fix the issue, but so far nothing has happened. It's getting really frustrating, and I'd REALLY like for someone to do SOMETHING about it. My thoughts, is that Gaia is too busy worrying about new ways to get more and more money out of us via cash shop.
That's another point, by the way. The cash shop! It was all fine and good until Gaia decided to add the Fortune Eggs. The eggs themselves were awesome, but there were two things that really pissed me (and a LOT of other people off): The Oni Set and the re-release of some older items. What pisses me off, is that Gaia had promised no account-exclusive items (meaning: no soulbound items), and they made one of the items soulbound. It really sucks, especially to those who know of a show called "Urusei Yatsura" and like cosplaying anime characters. The Oni Set is clearly a parody-item from said show. It's called an Oni Set, and Lum (the main female character) is an Oni and wears pretty much the same outfit.
See? Whoever designed that item was obviously a Urusei Yatsura fan.
Okay, about the re-release of older items... They didn't release a whole lot, so that was okay, but still. The slippers are 75-100mil items, and Gaia just released some to lucky winners, who would gladly sell them for half the price. If you think about it logically, if a bunch of people kept getting them, and selling them cheaper and cheaper, then they'd eventually be worth a lot less, causing the people who bought them for their original price, practically go bankrupt. And we all know that the older members will rant until something gets changed.
My last rant is more of a personal issue, but I'm sure some of you can relate to it. Basically, I wanted to get a Coco for my boyfriend as a Christmas Gift, so I decide to sell my Picolitrosso's Urn and Enchanted book (85k + 62k) along with some smaller items I had no need for. I really didn't want to part with my Urn and Book, but I decided since it was for my boyfriend, I could manage. So, I sell them and the next day, they fix the pose issues, and they go up in price by a LOT. The Urn hits 200k and the Enchanted book goes up to 85k. When I sold them, I figured I could easily re-buy them if I sold some other stuff, but when they had a price jump, I nearly shat bricks. There's really not much can be fixed about this, but I just felt like ranting about it 'cause it really pissed me off. x,x
Anyway, I think this has been enough ranting for one Journal Entry. I'm tempted to keep going, but I can't concentrate on this rant since my biffy just logged in. X3 So for now, bye-bye~ See ya when I see ya~ <3
