DOMINANT RACES
Humans Average lifespan 80 years. One of three dominant races on the planet. Tolerance of Elves varies from village to village.
Elves Average lifespan 100 years. Taller than humans - a short elf is the same height as a medium human. One of three dominant races on the planet. Tend to stick to themselves. Can be told from humans by long fingers and slanted eyes.
Half-elves Average lifespan 90 years. Third dominant race. Even less popular than Elves, but fortunately harder to recognize as their fingers & eyes are less distinct than Elves'.
DOMESTIC ANIMALS
Cats Pets. Lazy and disloyal, but usually affectionate
Chickens Livestock. Used for meat & eggs
Cows Livestock. Used for milk and meat.
Dogs Pets. Loyal and obedient, raised for a variety of purposes.
Goats Livestock. Commonly used for milk.
BEASTS
Jackalope Rabbit-like creature the size of a housecat. They do not have antlers as in legend but do have small horn-like nubs on top of skull between & slightly behing ears
Pheasant Game bird
Unicorn Actually a species of deer. Dark brown or even black fur. Both genders have a small horn between and slightly in front of their ears. Male horns are are about three inches long, female horns five inches.
