God returned to the little girl
and asked her why she wept.
She told him, "Why I don't know,
But something's here,
something that I love."
He couldn't care,
and wouldn't dare,
to harm the little girl.
So he took her hand
and asked her to close her eyes
so He could show her the scene,
of the dieing Angel Eien.
And she told Him,
"Who is this?
This beautiful person,
who's stolen my heart at a glance?"
Eien moved
to show her face,
and see who now addressed her.
She instantly saw the little girl
and tried to back away,
but only made it worse.
The blood continued to flow
through the wounds she thought had healed
and caused the puddle of sin
to grow only more.
And she told Him,
"Get that girl begone.
Don't let her suffer more,
by letting her see me as such.
You of all knowing
should at least realize
of what you have just done.
Take her away,
to the furthest of places
from here where thine hate resides."
She stared at her Angel,
and the blood dripping down,
and took a single step forward.
And she told Him,
"Take down this child,
this Angel of yours,
and tell me why she hurts,
why you have done such as this
and sinned like your people."
And He remained there,
in a state of absolute shock
as the girl approached her Angel
and pulled against the nails.
The Angel bent her head,
and her crown began to slip,
still tangled in her hair.
And she told Him,
"Do you not see
what you have done to this girl?
You've done more than I,
to show her such suffering.
Was it all to torture me more?"
He turned,
and left His daughters there
all alone with nothing else,
in the darker reaches of His kingdom.
And though she couldn't pull Eien from her cross,
The little girl sat there by her
and took care of her.
She wiped her tears,
and stopped the bleeding as best she could.
But a normal girl is still a normal girl,
and though she tried to hold on,
He never returned and she perished.
And she told Him,
"I'm dead now,
and an Angel none the less.
So now you can do nothing
to keep me from her,
from my Angel.
And though you will try to stop me,
I will find a way to save her
and pull her from the cross,
and one day you will see-
we will be happy together
and you will do nothing
because you are but a light in the sky.
So just you watch,
'God' of all,
as I beat you and your will
and have my dreams come true."
He watched as his daughters eventually returned,
and began the life promised,
together forever,
without Him.
And Eien looked back,
And she told Him,
"Good bye."
