I just realized that I used to be one of the people who were bullied in grade school.. I don't like seeing people getting bullied.. sad It just reminds me of how low I used to be.. and how much I couldn't stand up for myself.. I feel sorry for bullied kids, too.. They're the ones bullied, and looked down at.. like a rag, they wipe beautiful things clean, and make them shine... and after, they're thrown away.. Society misjudges them. When you analyze the situation, the bullies are the 'low' ones. They're criminals. They steal what is not theirs.. like innocent people's rights. Most people think being called a stealer or a robber simply means that you have stolen material things. To me, a robber can be anyone.. A bully is a very good example. Another is a worker going home early. I thought about this one.. and I realized that merely cutting off time, time which that person's boss clearly pays him for legally, can be considered stealing.. That time didn't belong to you, why did you take it? You stole time. Bullies steal rights.. Therefore, I consider them to be even worse than material robbers. Material robbers can steal your money and your car and much more.. but they can't take away your right to be who you are. Actually, come to think of it... No one can. You are who you are, no one can change or conceal that fact.
But what if people don't see you for who you are? They see you as trash. Insignificant garbage that you once needed and threw away.. Yet that garbage tries.. and tries.. to show everyone that it is not what it may appear as.. and it can be used.. if anyone took the time to pick it up, spread it out and look at it in a different perspective.. But, where would any garbage find such a gentle soul, to accept it, not minding what it looked like or how it may seem to be useless? With how people are today.. I don't think so. It'd have to be one in a million.. One in a million who wouldn't step on their fellow.. One in a million who would put other people in front of themselves..
Isn't that just what we all need? The inspiration of someone different.. someone who would reach out to you and tell you it'd be alright? The inspiration of someone who'd defy everything and all the conformism just to be his or herself and try to make the world a better place..
I don't know why people have to make things so complicated.. Why can't we all just adjust? Must we always give in to our egos and step on each others dignity? Why must we all be bullies or robbers and steal someone Else's dignity when we have our own? Do we always have to have more than what we have?
But then again, not everyone has enough.. Most people don't get the love they deserve and these people take away even more? Then that means the bullied ones that already have so little left of their lives, have even less than before, when I witness them being bullied.. And what do I do? Not much to make a difference.. But we can all just do a little more, a little more effort for those who get less love compared to us.. Let's all go out of our way sometimes to comfort someone or share something special with them.. I'm sure if we tried hard, we could do this to bullies as well. Although they've hurt people left and right, and maybe are still continuing to hurt these people, we could love them.. And give back to them the opposite of what we get. Hopefully, in giving, we'd find love.. We'd find love in their eyes when we feel that they acknowledge our presence and worth.. And that will just make us all feel content. Feeling content makes things a lot easier.. We're giving, and we get back.. We're filling the spaces in people's hearts when ours is empty.. and somehow, it will just feel right. And at the end of the day, being loved or feeling loved and appreciated is what matters..
So, give love today =)
