So a buddy of mine, the new kid in DeMolay, is in the hospital. He hasn't had surgery yet since though he has stones, there is an infection so it has to come down a bit first. I feel sorry for the kid. He is just 12 or 13. sad He also may have some blood infection too, which is probably what they are waiting to subside but I dunno.
Not only that, but now another buddy who has been in DeMolay for 2 or 3 years now is there too. He got hit by a card while he was biking on his way to my college to say happy b-day to my friend. Well he is going to need stitches and they may not even let him go since they dunno what is wrong with his leg. They think it is broken. If it was broken he wouldn't have been able to walk to my college after the accident. It is his nerves I believe. I think it'll cause probs. My friend whose bday it was doesn't wanna believe it though and thinks he'll be just fine. I believe he'll recover, however it'll be damn near impossible for him to do extracurricular activities since his knee and nerves won't let him anymore.
Lastly another friend of mine will be going through some things since she has a low white blood cell count. I feel sorry for her. Many people ignore her now a days and so ya, no one really cares. I do however.
So the hospital seems to be like the place to be.
On other news I have to go to a retreat in 4-5 hours and I'll be gone til sunday. I don't wanna go but I have to go. I don't wanna go since that means it is back to work and using my skills and abilities to advance the interest of the order. And it is not that I don't want to, it is just that I wanted a lil bit more of a break before I get none for a year. Oh well. C'est la vie.
