Alison sat staring at the sky it was a clear night. Her face was pale ad tear streaked her hands clutched her stomach. It was time and she knew it. She wanted him to be with her though. But he was gone, as in another country and wouldn't be back for awhile. Sweat beaded on her forehead and a contraction hit harder than the last. Her mother came outside knowing her daughter would be there.
Worry illuminated her mother's pretty face. She dropped to her knees when she got close enough to her daughter and murmured, "Alison are you okay?" as she said it she pushed her daughters silvery blonde hair off her forehead. Alison sighed unhappily "No Mom I am not okay. Not only am I 15 and now is the baby coming. I wanted Jaden to be here to see this day." her voice broke. "I miss him so much. And now this" she gestured to her stomach "this is too much for me to handle and it hurts." she started sobbing again.
"Alison, dear you are young you can do this. I know you can. And i know you miss him. Let's get you inside." Jean lifted her daughter off the ground and they walked slowly into the house they were nearly to the door when Alison froze and gripped the table that was nearby and she let out a scream and slid down to the ground again Jean hugged her daughter close and tried to console her. Alison cried out again softer this time. "Mama it hurts it hurts so bad. What if the baby doesn't survive?" Jean soothed her by saying " I know babe I know it does and that baby will survive I promise you."
They stood up again Alison cried out again as a contraction hit "Jaden I need you. We need you. The baby needs you." she moaned.
The two made it inside and Alison went to lay down for a few minutes. She heard someone knock on the door she stood and went to answer it. She squealed when she saw who it was "Oh Jaden! You came. Your home!" she shook with sobs Jaden wrapped his arms around his wife and kissed the top of her head.
"Yes babe I am home." he walked her back to the living room and helped lay her down. She sighed. He laced his fingers with hers and squeezed her hand gently. She squeezed back gently until another contraction hit and it was so strong she actually screamed, Jaden pulled her closer to him and whispered, "Babe its okay. It'll be okay I promise."
Alison cried out again and again during the hour but Jaden kept telling her it would be okay. She fell asleep for a short time and Jean came in to see Jaden cradling Alison close to him and smiled and said hello. Jaden and Jean chatted quietly when Alison awoke screaming about blood and the baby. Jaden soothed her this time.
Jean got up and grabbed coats and told Jaden to get Alison to the car. He stood carefully and carried Alison outside. "Jaden, the baby is coming now!" she started shaking. Jaden opened the door set Alison down gently and shut the door he ran around to the other side opened his door climbed in and shut his door.
Alison cried out and said she felt that urge to push but Jaden to her to resist. She said she could try. Jean came out and got in the car and drove off driving like a crazy lady with her pants on fire.
They made it to the hospital. Jaden got out of the car and hurried to get Alison's door. He helped her out carefully Jean said to go along without her.
So the two went up to the door when Alison's doctor came up to her and said to wait a moment and Alison would be in a room. "Dr. Esme can we hurry please?" Jaden asked. "Okay please follow me." she led them into room number three .
Alison changed into the gown Dr. Esme had given her while Jaden looked the other way. Alison sat down carefully on the bed and clutched her stomach again. Tears rolled down her face again thickly Dr. Esme told Alison to start pushing on the count of three. "Okay" was all Alison could say Jaden stood by her and held her hand. "One. Two. Three." Alison pushed hard. "I can see the head" Esme said excitedly ten minutes later. Alison pushed harder and harder Jaden coaxing her when she felt like quitting.
Finally after an hour Alison was told to quit pushing. Her face was sweaty and gross but she was thrilled. The doctor has announced Alison had given birth to a girl. Alison and Jaden decided on Claire Elizabeth for their daughter. Now mother and baby slept peacefully.
