HEADLINES: VICTORY AS ASSURED AS ALIENS PROVED REAL!
We stand here tonight at the dawn of a new age citizen! That’s right, this loving globe we call home has been unified a single banner! The flag of the Terran Nation now flies proudly outside the White House and ever major political building the world over. We’ve done it citizen! That’s right, your hard fought suffering and sacrifice has played a crucial role in seeing this dawn rise! Your loyalty to President Stryker has seen this plan carried through to end and your rich bounty is a world united, a bounty of resources free to share. Let’s go to the front!
All eyes were on our beloved Red Company of the 734 th U.S.A. Special Division, Ragnarok Regiment. These sons and daughters of liberty stormed the strongholds of evil itself and tore down the iron flag of the Communist Nation. Led by our son of glory. General Christopher Stryker, the company single handedly took out the Armored Mobile Russian Oppression Palace. He led the forefront of the assault which crippled the palace and stormed the structure taking us to victory. Now that’s quite an impressive resume! As we all know, a General is only as good as the officers beneath him so let’s take a look at the battle’s highlights, shall we?
The General, armed with plasma pistol and sword in hand was not alone as he charged the field. Kudos must be given the squads under his platoon leaders. The opening gambit of the battle was a massive coordinated demolition of the stadium which housed the Oppression Palace. The coordination of the attack goes to the credit of 3rd platoon’s chemist team under 1st sergeant Violet Tamara. Running charges for the attack were Charlie Souo, Charlie Squad leader of 2nd platoon under sergeant Krya Sukulsky. Why even platoon mascot, the Husky Sled Dog Hermes, ran explosives used in the attack. Isn’t he just adorable! We can’t forget the support offered up by 4th platoon, under the mysterious Marx, why Sergeant Riley Bannon, head of recon provided the needed cover to see the placement succeed.
It wasn’t just bombs from below citizen, no indeed, 3rd platoon leader 1st sergeant Violet Tamara flew in some unique ordinance to reign down from the sky. The air was “cleared” as anti-air guns were destroyed by flying robots. That’s right, remote controlled guided missile bots buzzed and “mewed” threw the sky, positively annihilating the Red counteroffensive. Every dastardly trick was blow clear to kingdom come, from the communication jamming fog machines to those crazy suicide bombers. That’ll teach those Reds what honor means in battle!
Holding the position wasn’t easy while plans were set, however. Thanks to the remarkable know-how of 4th platoon, lives were saved and technology was put towards the greater good of preserving freedom. Why Marx himself showed some of the more devastating features of his armored suit, wiping out entire squads with a barrage of energy weapons and missiles. We also need to put a spotlight on his droid assault squads, wiping the field of enemy soldiers and holding the front lines with the kind of cold, calculated minds we need in our army. If not for the fact that we are a united planet, we could use these briliant pieces of technology to fight wars for us! Speaking of brilliant hardware, the Soulreaver, Bane Blade class heavy tank stood toe to toe against the defenses of the Oppression Palace and showed it whose boss.
After all traps were set in place, our boys used strategy and military smarts to outwit their enemies. After the forces in the stadium were taken down, the ground forces rushed to the 50 yard line. In a bold move, a massive support line laid out explosives and a timely retreat led by General Stryker goaded the Armored Mobile Russian Oppression Palace in the jaws of defeat. The Mobile Palace was mobile no more citizen! Securing the dangerous cold fusion core within, Stryker led the ground units into the maw of oppression itself taking heavy losses as the assault squads of 5th platoon led by Second Lieutenant Wallace Hammer tore through the heavily armored enemy.
Enemies weren’t just in the stadium however, our boys were set on all sides by reinforcements as troops rushed into the fray from all over the battlefield. We need to give a special thanks to 2nd platoon leader Krya Sukulsky who took resounding command of the ground forces outside the palace and held off the enemy tooth and nail, suffering casualties among dearest friends. You fought hard soldier, earning your place among the true heroes of this war!
Despite pressure on all fronts, we pulled out a victory citizen! General Stryker defeated the evil and insane General Ivan Rasputin Markov like a hero from an epic tale, one on one in melee combat, taking the Oppression Palace and all the retinue of Commissar Alexi Barkov with it. Read on citizen as we find even more support from a most unlikely and unbelievable source.
ALIENS EXIST AND THEY LOVE AMERICA!!
That’s right citizen! Not little green men from mars or evil brain sucking pod monsters, we have confirmed contact with an alien force from another planet! In the last hours of the battle to take the Oppression Palace, those dirty reds tried to have the last laugh. If they weren’t walking away with the planet in their iron fists, they were going to blow clear out of the heavens. A system in the Palace tripped the cold fusion core found within, a reaction scientists say would have caused a black hole which could have tore the earth in half!
Our friends from above picked a timely chance for their arrival. On a global scale, communication channels were pirated and the alien’s message of peace was broadcast. The Xantari, as they are called are a race of seemingly peaceful “space elves” the United Earth Defense Force will give us a full report as soon as possible. For the time being, we’ve given them the hand of friendship. The Xantari warped the cold fusion core into the deep warp of space, preserving the planet we’ve all worked so hard to unify. Thank you friends, may we find a new path to peace in this coming Golden Age.
THE TIES THAT BIND
Solidifying the new unified Terra, a marriage between Blue Company’s leader John Curtis Stryker Jr. and the Princess of the Asian disputed territories, Maryn Toyotomi will commence first thing tomorrow. The rest of the unit fell to the devious hands of General Ivan Rasputin Markov in a desperate sacrifice to cover General Christopher Stryker. After the assault, he personally avenged them, dueling the Mad General and arising victorious.

These soldiers lead bravely to the end by Sergeant Placus Atrius have all been awarded the highest presidential achievements for bravery and given Purple Hearts. Relief for their mourning families will be provided and the unit will be rebuilt with honor guard colors in remembrance of those who selflessly gave their lives so that our world could finally be free of the evils of tyranny and deception. May the gods guide you, brave souls, those who fought and died for a cause you believed in and may your legacy never be forgotten.
