Smiles and laughs
All around
As we all start to play
On the Merry-Go-Round
Friends and parents
Swings, and slides
Girls all laughing
Little boys telling tiny lies
Cheers of joy,
Yet small scrapes too
Everyones having fun
Even with a boo boo
Babies playing in the sand box
Children playing on the See-Saw
Boys running around playing chase
As mothers are watching through it all
Lots of screams and laughs
With picnics under a tree
Lots of good food
Here come have some with me
Summer is a joy
Spend your time having lots of fun
Its the best part of the year
For almost, well, everyone!
