Chapter 4
"Yuki! There you are!" the woman said running inside. "We hit the lottery and now we can support you! So you can come home now!" the woman said happily. Yuki stared at the woman. "You're not my mother anymore! If you think I'm just gonna come back and act like nothing happened....then you're wrong!" she screamed. "I wanna stay here with Miyoko!" Yuki ran back to her room and locked the door. The woman looked surprised. "Plese Yuki!" the woman yelled down the hallway. "We want you to come home!" "That girl better have her mind made up by tomorrow." the man said hastily. "You're coming with us Akihiko." he added. He looked at his watch. "My game's coming on now. C'mon Mari." he commanded. The woman looked heart broken as she left the home. Miyoko shut the door and went back to Yuki's room. "Yuki....the woman's gone...please open the door." "Yuki hesitated and opened the door. "PLEASE DONT MAKE ME LEAVE SU!" Yuki screamed thrusting herself at Miyoko. "I wont let anything bad ever happen to you Yuki...I promise.." Miyoko told her. "But what if you get sick...and me and Sora are only kids...and I don..." "I DONT WANT TO GO HOME! THEY'RE MEAN PEOPLE! I DONT WANT TO BE PUT UP FOR ADOPTION AGAIN SU! I WONT BE A BOTHER! JUSS DONT MAKE ME LEAVE!!!!!" Yuki went on. Yuki began to cry and she squeezed Miyoko tighter. "I wont make you do anything Yuki....but your brother is goin home with them tomorrow...so you have to make up your mind." Miyoko gave Yuki and hug and went to talk to Sora. She knocked twice again. "Come in Miyoko. Miyoko came in adn shut the door. "Yuki's really set on staying here with us.." she started. Sora looked up from his computer. "I dont want those people to hurt Yuki...." he said. "What do you mean?" Miyoko asked. "I looked them up online. They're the Kyoto Family. They tend to give children up for adoption and want them back later." "What's the point of that?" Miyoko asked. "They get yen from the Emperor if they foster children for short periods of time and return them." "That's terrible!" Miyoko said. "We have to keep her here with us Miyoko. Akihiko too. If they put them up for adoption again...who knows where they'll end up. Then how will we defeat Kuro." Sora told her. "Yuki was their actual child, but since they started to run out of room and they werent getting any money for her, they put her up for adoption." "Sora...I have to go tell Yuki she can stay.." Miyoko said leaving the room. She entered Yuki's room. Yuki was packing her stuff up. "I know you dont want me here....I'll just be trouble su." Yuki told Miyoko. "Yuki...I know what they do.....you can stay here....with us..." Yuki looked up and hugged MIyoko. "I love you MIyoko..." Yuki said. "I love you too Yuki." Miyoko said back.
It was the next day, and Rei was missing. "All her stuff is still in her room, so she didnt run away....Kei told them. "Yuki's parents knocked on the door again. This time Sora opened it. "Aren't you a cute little guy!?" the woman said hugging Sora. "What's your decision Yuki?" the woman asked nervously. "Im going......to stay with Miyoko mom..." Yuki said. "Are you sure dear?" the woman asked. "Im positive...and so is Akihiko." "WHAT!?" the man yelled. "He's my only son!? Why the hell would he want to stay here!?" he went on. "I need to be with YUki dad...I need to protect her. "Fine...whatever...lets go Mari." he said walking down the sidewalk. "Here Yuki...." the woman said reaching in her pockets. "I know you like those teru teru bonzu's...so I wanted to give you these.." she handed Yuki two golden bunny hairpins. "Thank you...mom." Yuki hugged her and Akihiko hugged his mom too. "I love you two..." she whispered. "I said c'mon Mari!" the man screamed again. "WAIT! CANT YOU SEE IM SAYING GOODBYE!?" she yelled. "uh....uh...i..im sorry.." he said backing away. The woman turned to Miyoko and Sora. "Take good care of them.." she said quietly as she left. A coupld minutes later, Rei came in the door. "Rei! Where have you been!?" Kei said hugging her. Nowhere..." she said and she went back to her room.
Later that night, there was another knock on Sora's door. It was Rei. "I need to talk to you.." she told Sora. He turned around to listen. "God called me to Heaven this morning...and he said he lifted the curse." Sora stared at her. Rei took a deep breath. "I dont have to be an angel anymore. I dont have to fight demons and I dont have to be here anymore...I can leave." "Eh.." Sora said faintly. "But I guess I'll hang around for a while.." Rei told him. Sora smiled.
