Collections From The Night
I obtain most of my inspiration for writing at night. I do not know why. It also tends to happen while I'm lying in bed, in the dark, listening to music on my iPod/PSP. I keep a green notebook beside my bed & a pen just in case I have to write an idea down. I'm finally working on my fanfiction requests once again & my own fanfiction works. They're mostly for 'Alice In Wonderland' & Batman: TAS as of right now. 3nodding
I also hate how everybody is jumping on the 'Alice' bandwagon now. Nobody cared about 'Alice' until Tim Burton's movie came into play, & to be honest, the adaptation of it doesn't really look all that entertaining. Nor does it look correct. It looks like it's some mash up of 'A Clockwork Orange' & American Mcgee's 'Alice'. I have been a loyal 'Alice' fan since childhood. I own multiple copies of the novel in different editions as well as Lewis Carroll's other works. In fact, most of the new 'Alice' fans do not even appreciate the entire story. They're interested in it for the AlicexHatter shipping, & that is an absurd reason. There is much more to the story, & if they had known anything, they would know that the Mad Hatter does not even appear to have much contact with Alice throughout the novel. I'm not dismissing a shipping that I am a fan of myself, I'm just saying that people should learn to appreciate the entire story rather than a shipping within it as their sole reason.
Take it from someone who plays Alice at Disney World; Being 'Alice' is grand, but it's also A LOT of hard work. A. LOT.
If you are part of the bandwagon crew who just enjoys following the crowd, please do not expect me to adore you. I do not enjoy mindless conformity.
