Yay! Now you have a new color to use instead of the ones from the drop-down menu. I have a whole LIST of 'em, and I'll post a different one up every post. There's... like, sixty of them. xD Probably more. I probably won't get through them all, but I'll try. ;P
Anyhow.
These are some stories from my awesome trip in PEI. ;D
I have lost some of that my-dad-is-better-than-yours respect for my dad. xD
So, I beg my dad to stop because I see these horsies near the road, behind this fence. My dad, my brother and I get out of the car to take pictures with them. There's four horses, two near the fence, and two a little further off. I go up to the fence to get closer, and my dad yells, "DON'T STAND TOO CLOSE!" and franctically waves his arms. I back away from the fence, a little weirded out, and he takes his pictures, all the while yelling about not standing too close to the horses. The two that were further away noticed us, and came over to see what was going on. I swear, they weren't even running over. It was more like they were trotting over to see us. And my dad FLIPS out, runs for the car, and starts screaming, "GET IN THE CAR! GET IN THE CAR!" like it's the end of the world and we're about to be bombed by Martian invaders. My brother and I jump into the car, and my dad takes off at lightning speed, telling us that the horses were going to jump over the fence and chase our car, and if he hadn't gotten us into the car in time, we would be dead. Meanwhile, the horses are all eating grass, completely oblivious to the fact that my dad thinks they're killer horses.
My dad is a six foot two black man made up of 225 pounds of muscle. And he's afraid of horsies. Pretty little horsies with long, flowy manes.
The end. xD
My mom can talk to dogs. o o
Well, we're at one of the many beaches in PEI (it's an island. Do the math. xD) and I'm picking up shells when my dad starts freaking out, yet again
But this time, he's got a good reason.
Up on the hill, there are can see two dogs, pacing around, and one of them sees us down on the beach. They don't have collars, and they look a whole lot like wolves. D: So, that one comes STRAIGHT up to me, and starts sniffing me. By this time, my dad and my brother are far into the water (mind you, my dad was thinking this would keep the dog away. Dogs can swim. - - ) I can honestly tell you that I wasn't all that scared. I didn't know it was wild. xD I'm a huge ditz. Then, it sniffs my mom, and then goes to play with a jellyfish. My mom goes up to it and says, "Go home. Don't play with the jellyfish. We don't want to play. Go home," and, just like that, it leaves. Go Mom. ;]
