I was thinking these past few days of a poem that I wrote a while back in eighth grade. Not all that surprising, it was about love. Well, at least, that was the theme my old English teacher assigned my class to write poetry about. I lost the poem sometime ago, but I still remember most of it, or at least what it was talking about. It was about colors and emotions. So, I felt inspired to neglect my real journal and write a post here about the same subject of colors and emotions.
The line in the poem that is stuck in my mind, even till this day, will begin my thoughts:
"Can you describe the color of love?"
Some say the color of love is pink, red, or gold. Others say a rose, a heart, or a kiss can symbolize it. I say that those who say this are somewhat incorrect. In answer to my eighth-grade poetry question, I say that love can't be described. No, not because we don't know what it is. It's because it is an essence of life. Love is unique to Earth alone. It cannot be described because it needs no description. It is everything: red, gold, pink, heart, rose, and many more.
Also in my poem, I wrote about the color of certain emotions and feelings and related them to love. Now I say that love is a mix of all feelings. Isn't there Mystery in Love? Isn't there Passion, Shyness, and sometimes Anger? Not many have experienced love, I think, if they haven't realized all the emotions mixed in with it.
And I'm not Sad that this is the end of my thoughts, 'cause I'm just glad to get them out here. heart

As a writer, my fingers are constantly itching for a new way to write things or a new place to put ideas. Even though I know this journal will be semi-anonymous ('cause not many people read my journal, you know?), I still like writing.
