Ever wonder why you dream what you dream? I do. My dreams are so bizarre and some of the ones I want to think about more are gone by the time I wake up and I give myself a headache trying to remember them again. I usually only get brief glimpses of memory. Some I never forget, like one I had when I was little (I woke up from it crying). I had one a few months back that I hope I never forget. It was my dream dream, if that makes any sense, but I won't tell you what it was. If I could control a dream (which I actually managed to do once, sort of) I would make myself fly away from all my troubles into my own world where everything is like an awesome medieval fantasy kinda theme and I'm the heroine. Why do we dream what we dream? I have so many strange dreams that I've lost count. I have dreams with friends in them, scary dreams, dreams that make no sense whatsoever, and many other kinds I don't even know how to - or, in some cases, even want to - name or describe. I think my brain works overtime just to confuse me, and it wouldn't be so bad if I could just figure out what they mean. Are they messages, omens, or obscure memories or fears? I have no clue, I'd like to know but I don't. Oh well! Such is a night in the life of a stranger. Fantasy is only a myth if you believe it is.
