Jace was now completely frozen over, and his skin had lost all color. The drivers looked hungrilly at his near lifeless corpse, waiting for him to die. The mother and father had raced Jace to the hospital. Okay they told the kids to stay at the house and wait for them and they would call if things got 'bad'. Amia and Tal and Nylia ate miserably thinking about Jace weather he be alright or not.
Tok sat sdown at the table in the kitchen, his head in his hand, he looked down at the table, a lot on his mind. Nylia heard him walking about thanks to her sensative ears, plus it was really quiet around the house now. Considering what had just happened... She got up and pretended to be as if she were gonna go wash her dish. She walked up to Tok."What happened?"she asked as in a whisper. Toks head sunk onto the table, he then said "Nothing..."
Ugisai and Tomiko sat in the waiting room, anxiously awaiting the news on their son. A doctor walked out of the operating room, his hands covered in ice and blood. They stood up and approached the doctor.
Will our son be alright doctor?
I think so. I managed to get about 80 percent of the ice off of his body, but the reamining 20 percent has already been absorbed into his DNA.
What does that mean?
it means that i still need to run some tests, but my best guess is that the ice will change his genetic makeup, and possibly give him the power to control ice. I'm not sure, but that is my best guess.
"Please don't hide things Tok we won't hate you...And that's a promise we all can keep....."she ruffled up his hair and then put her dish away not wanting to eat more and she walked up stairs into her room. Amia and Talbanath had finished. Though slowly unlike quickly the way they usualy would've. "I would have told you... but now you left..." Nylia was too worried so she just left Tok with just saying,"I'll be in my room."and with that she left up the stairs. She layed on her bed and sighed.
Jace sat alone in his dark hospital room. The doctors had told him not to move, but he had to. He stood up and moved towards the bathroom when he heard a snap. He looked down and saw that his legs had turned to ice. He cried out in horror and a nurse slammed open the door. Oh dear, let's get you back into bed. She helped him up and delicatly placed his legs back onto the bed. They shifted back to normal, and a scar appeared where a crack had formed. She assisted him, and he miserably used his urinal. He layed back down and fell asleep.
Nylia started to meditate.She sat on her bed and had been in deep though and concentration. If something were to go wrong she would know...(this is how she got sences to when certain things were to happen or go wrong as would anyone else. These sences wouldn't kick in much at the time.) Tok went up insto his room. Getting in and closing the door behind him silently like he wasn't even there. He drew a circle on the ground, he then read words from the book, Tok then said "ZECARE!" Tok then slamemd his Gauntlet into the ground, adn said "Good.. now I can go back in the past..." Tok felt something go wrong, then Tok felt himself deaging, Tok then fell to the ground, he just laied there, but he started to shrink...
She jumped up outta her concentration. She rushed out the door flung it open and looked around."Tok...?"Smoke came out of the room, but where Tok laied, a 6 year old was there. Tok's ears, and tail were still there, but they were so tiny, and cute; Tok just laied there still, smoke coming off of him.
Amia and Talbanath peeked from their door."Who's that?""Uhm..."she got on her knees beside Tok. She waved her hand around her head to get some smoke out of her face."Tok....?" Tok sat up, and then he asked "What happened?"Amia poked Tok."Who are you?"Talbanath blinked."And how'd you get in here?" "..." Tok then thought up a plan "Oh yeah, a snuck into your house, im trying to rob you!""But you're a little kid... And Tok, I know it's you now."she smiled and patted him on the head."Good joke. Now stop fooling around and look, uhm, normal again alright." Toks ears twitched on his head, then he said " yeeah, about that sweatdrop "
"What? Don't tell me.... you're stuck like that aren't you?" "Okay, then I will lie... no, i'm not stuck like this ^^;;;" Amia huged him."You're so cute!!"she realised what she said and let go of him and backed up some."Eheheh..."she was looking down for a moment.Nylia giggled a bit."He does look kinda cute."Talbanath shook hishead."Whatever." "Ah..." Toks expression was like this " O.///O thanks.." She turned to Nylia."He seems to be fine. Maybe there's an antidote for this to turn him back, right?" Nylia shruged."I don't really think there is. We could just wait and see what happens..."Tok then said, "It's good to finally be 6 agai-" Tok fell to the ground, unconsis... Nylia shook her head. She picked the small Tok up useing her light energy. This wouldn't harm Tok at all. She made him drift off into his room and onto his bed."There that should do till he wakes.."
Jace layed motionlessly on the table as the doctor approached with a needle. Just relax son. This needs to be done in order for us to learn more about your case. Who knows? we might even discover how you can control your new power.
The doctor gently stuck the needle in and drew some blood. He handed it over to one of the nurses, who rushed off to have it analyzed. How do you feel? a little odd, but generally i feel fine. why do you ask? because normally, most people would be nervous. they might think that we might be trying to hurt them or something. but you trust us. why?
Jace pulled the man close. two reasons: one, if you were going to do something to me, you would have already done it, and two, this is a public area. You wouldn't dare reveal your cover in a place like this. He relesed the man, who whiped the sweat off of his face. Very true. After we run our tests, we'd like you to stay here for a little while so we can help you develop control. We've just finished a new ward of the hospital to help... unique patients recover. I would like to know if you would be willing to try it.
Jace grinned. Sure. I'll give it a shot.
The twins walked up to the phone and called their parents on the cell. RING RING! The mother picked up."Hello?"she answered in her soft and soothing tone. "Mommy, is Jacey alright?" "Yes, he is... Well actualy he's gonna have to stay here at the hospital for awhile, okay sweetie? Please don't get too worried. He'll be just fine.""Okies..."she hung up.
Jace entered the waiting room, walking with crutches. He was making excelent progress in his therapy, and could now walk with the aid of crutches. His legs would not freeze over. He walked over to his mother and father and hugged them. This had been the first time he had seen them since he had been here.
Jace! How are you baby?
Really well, actually. The therapy is really interesting. I'm learning to control the power rapidly. Speaking of which...
He waved his hand in a series of patterns. An imperfect ice rose formed in his hand, and he handed it to her.
It's not great, but it's progress. Eventually i'll be able to make all sorts of items. And i'll be able to use the power to protect our family...
Don't you worry about that right now. Just focus on recovering and developing your power. Try to enjoy it sweetie. We need to get back to the little ones, but we'll bring them next time we visit. Good luck with your training! She and Usigai stood up, hugged Jace one last time, and walked away. Jace turned to the doctor.

Wolf sighed, once again it was the same ol' thing.. Another town, another day, blah blah blah... Going to the closit of his rented house, he pulled a large hat out and put it over his head, covering his ears. Then he stuffed his tail up his shirt and walked out the door, looking for something to do...
Nylia seeing that Tok wouldn't wake up for awhile she walked out the door. She really needed some time alone for awhile.... Things had been too dramatical and such in this family lately. She stoped when the twins came along. They had shifted into little baby foxes. They looked at Nylia with tilted heads and asked."Could we go get ice cream all together?" She nodded with a slight smile."Of course. By the way how did mom say how Jace was doing?"she went to go reach for dad's wallet. "She said he's doing a-okies." "Phew, okay glad to hear."she walked out the front door and had held onto the twin's hands and then started to walk down the block.
Wolf snored loudly under a large tree, the hat over his eyes.. He'd had a long day, as far as he had been able to see this place was really not his kinda of place.. Still, he was stuck here, he had already payed the men to have jess's tree moved into his front yard and he didn't have the money to get them to move it back out...
Haveing some other neighbors watch as the three siblings walked out the door as if spying on them to see whatever they would do next. Nylia had continued on without care. No one had really watched the news lately so they didn't know they were reporting them. Talbanath shifted into a duckling and waddled about to try and make Nyl laugh. He looked adoreable. Sadly it didn't make her laugh though... They passed by Wolf and he tried quacking loudly.
"Whowawhere?!" Wolf jumped to his feet, the hat falling off and his tail slipping out of his shirt as he grabbed for his katana..
Nylia stood in front of Talbanath. Seeing this new neighbor reach for his weaponary. she wasn't in the mood for much of a i'm sorry right now."Nothing, sir..."she looked at Talbanath giveing him a slight glare. The duckling shifted back to human and said."Sowwy." Her expression lightened and she looked at Amia whom was still holding tightly onto her hand as if about to wet her pants."What's wrong with you?" Wolf frowned, ducks changing into kids was somewhat new to him.. "That's fine..." he said looking the three up and down with a confused look on his face and his ears perked up on his head..
Amilia saw it was okay now. Light brushing some hair from her face she asked,"Are you new around here?" Wolf nodded slowly, looking them up and down still.. "Yeah," he said, "I'm new... I assume you people live here?..."
"You betcha we do!" Looks shyly at the ground and nods her head. "Well, justa let you know don't mind the other neighbors. They're just nosey and will call the cops on you if you make too much noise."she smiled friendily and introduced herself."I'm Nylia Okimari." "I'm Amia." "I'm Talbanath." She looked at her watch on her wrist."Oh my, we better get going you two."she said then took off.
Jace stepped into the Training area on his own. He assumed a combat stance as a robot entered the arena.
Remember Jace. You only use the power when in desperation.

Jace performed a roundhouse on the robot's head. He grinned, but then became shocked when the head didn't fly off, like before.
You'll find that the new robots are tougher than their previous incarnations the doctor said with a grin
I... Noticed... that! Jace said as the robot shook him by one foot.
Screw this...
Jace lifted his hands and placed them onto the robot's midsection, which began to frost over. Soon, Jace had frozen the entire robot, but was still caught in its vice-like grip. Jace chopped the arm, which shattered, releasing him. He then punched the robot as hard as he could, and it exploded into hundreds of pieces.
How on earth did you do that, Jace? We haven't covered something that advanced yet!
Let's just say that I got on the Nurse's... good side, and she let me out. Did you know that her favorite color is black? Jace laughed and asssumed his combat position once again, ready for whatever the Doc could dish out.
Wolf sighed, at least he wasn't the only weird person in the area... Slowly, he started to walk home, he wanted to see how the movers were doing with Jess's tree..
Nylia had still continued on her way to the ice cream parlor and when she did she bought the two strawberry ice cream. Nylia had chocolate chip mint. They each had been licking their cones on the sides makeing sure it didn't drip onto their fingers so this wouldn't be so messy. Although that didn't work for the twins however. They had what seemed just smashed the cones into their faces and started to eat it. Soon getting a tooth freeze as one might call it, they groaned. Nylia laughed at them."You shouldn't of done that so fast then.... and besides finishing first doesn't always have to matter." "But we're doing a race." "Uh-huh."she had ice cream all over her face now.
Jace sat in his hospital bed flipping through the channels. He had been strapped to his bed in order to keep him from pushing himself any further. He could have easily ripped through them, but his body ached, and, strangely enough, the strapps felt comfortable. He continued to flip through the channels until he came upon the news, which was about his family. He laughed at the newscasters and their obvious bias against the family. He watched the news for awile. After cleaning the twins up a bit she was going to head to the house but decided... since thye were close to the hospital they all three went to go see Jace.
Mrs. Okimari looked at them. He's been like this for hours. I can't determine what's wrong. I've looked into his mind multiple times, but all i get is garbled images. I can't make sense of them.
Wolf sighed as he walked toward the house, he could already hear Jess yelling at the moving men.."No you idot, move it to the left! Watch those branches, i don't want a single one broken!!"Yes, this was going to be an intresting day indeed... Walking through the yard where his girlfriend continued to harrass the movers, Wolf stepped into the kitchen and pulled out a coke.. Cursing at the fact that it was still warm, he glared at it a moment and then slurpped down the now ice cold drink, wondering what those three people he had seen were doing..
Not old enough to drive this sure was better. They made it and walked inside quickly and to the person up front. Shifting back to normal they asked."Where's Jace Okimari? We would like to see our brother pwease."
Soon being led to Jace the twins hurried in and had some earth worms hidden in Amia's hat. The worms were crawling around and making her feel a bit gittery and she had to keep poking them back in. Amia walked to the side of the bed and took off her hat and showed Jace."Hey we brought some of our friends! They say hope you feel better soon big brother of Amia."she smiled. Talbanath looked at him."Why are you strapped up Jace? Are they experimenting on you in here?"he said, as if expecting to kick some someone here.
Well tell your friends that i said thank you! And no Tal, they aren't experimenting on me. I'm strapped down because I keep sneaking out of the hospital to train. The nurse entered the room and unstrapped him. "Time for dinner."
can the little ones join us? "If they want."
How about it kids? Both nodded their heads and had been wanting to eat something. Their appitite for such small children was always abnormal.
Jace swung his legs around and to the side of the bed and climbed out. He looked at the twins and laughed. He looked at the nurse. If i promise to be a good boy and not run out, can i take them to the dining area on my own?
"Sorry, but we can't trust you."
Tal? Amia?
Amia and Talbanath gave their puppy pout look. One of the things people couldn't resist."Please? Jace is a good boy."
The nurse sighed. "Alright. But the moment you set foot out of here, your room will be under lock and key, and you'll not be allowed visitors anymore. Clear?"
Crystal. c'mon guys! let's get you some food.
He lifted the twins onto his sholders and exited the room. He walked with them to the cafeteria, passing by many doctors and nurses along the way. Amia and Talbanath smiled brightly and they started looking around the hospital. Looking at the doctors and nurses along the way and when they got to the cafeteria they grinned cheek to cheek. Being in a cafeteria with food wasn't such a good idea. Oh well! Time to cause some mischief!
As they entered the caf, the lunchroom attendant smiled at Jace.
"Hey hun. Who are these little ones?"
This is Tal, and this is Amia. they're my little brother and sister.
"Well hello there lil' ones! What can i get you folks?" "Anything, i'm starved."he answered quickly. Amia shruged."Whatever Tal has I guess."she said with a smile.
The attendant chuckled and piled three trays full of burgers, pizza, and fries. "How's that?"
