This year has gone by extremely fast. I only have one more month to officially plan out my 20th birthday. OMG! Guitar lessons have been doing excellent, and so has my songs that I have been writing. Yesterday, Daddy wanted to know how come I don't want to take my guitar class every week. I told him that as much as I love my guitar, and loving learning how to play it, I still have to take out some time to be able to write my music. I have been doing creative writing since I was a little girl, and I am not about to let anything or anyone get in the way of it, unless they are God, or Jesus Christ, but that's an entirely different subject. Anyways, I told him that since I am doing both, taking guitar classes, and writing my own music, I have to try to balance them both out. For instance, whenever I am writing a song, I won't take up guitar classes during that time period. After I have finished with writing, I will return back to practicing upon my guitar, and practice until I feel like I am ready, and then I'll go back to my guitar lessons, and get ready to work on another lesson. See? It's pretty well balanced out. Sounds complicating, but it's not. Besides, on the plus side, it's also keeping me a little balanced for whenever my parents let me go to college.
