I called out to him in a voice i hadn't heard escape my lips sense I was eight years old "Rhouben!" I sounded like that same scared little girl I use to be, looking up to her older brother. He turned to face me and he was barley recognizable, his face contorted into a malicious grin. His eyes flashed that all to familiar silver and his fangs elongated.
In a mocking voice he answered me "Yes big brothers here sissy, here to rip out your throat!" In that split second that he lunged for my throat my eyes closed. But there was no feeling of weight pressing down on me, no feeling of excruciating pain. When I opened my eyes what I saw made my stumble backwards. Ambrosie was now in front of me with his hand stretched out and he was covered in blood. The his angelic voice sounded in my ears " Callidora how could you let this happe...." he was cut off by a low gurgling sound, he spit up blood then fell and landed at my feet. I grappled for him and pulled his lifeless body into my lap. His blood coated my arms as I held my beautiful immortal, the tears came with a crushing force. When my heaving stopped a evil laugh sounded in the space surrounding me. I knew all to well who the laugh belonged to.
I was right Alrich walked out of the blue and glided to where I sat with my dead Ambrosie. He grabbed my chin and i jerked my head to the side. He slapped me across the face.
" You will face me!"
With incredible strength he forced my eyes to meet his.
" Now that you have no outside influence will you join me and you brother or shall you die like the rest of the weaker of our kind."
I grinned at him showing my fangs and hissed "After you killed my lover you have the audacity to believe I would side with you! NEVER!"
" I always thought blood was thicker" he lunged for my throat.
