I had a dream last night boys and girls, now it wasn't one of those, lovey-dovey, "I never wanna wake up" kinda dreams, nor was it one of those horrorifying, never sleep again kind. It was more along the lines of, one of those subconscious questioning dreams, and I'd like to share it with you.
It was a long dream, longer than I'd ever had, but I remember one part the clearest, while the rest is just a blur, and if I don;t type it out now, I'll probably forget it.
Me and three friends, ones I have never seen before, were standing around checking out the new girl that had just moved to our town. One of my friends turns to me and says, "Jay, how come you don't date alot?"
To which I replied,
"Heh, because I'm still searching for that one girl, you boys know the one, you've seen her before in your dreams, and you'll probably see her again tonight, or tomorrow night, or the night after. The girl that takes your breath away, the girl that, no matter how much of a smooth talker you are, you can never find the right words to say, the girl that makes your heart feel like its going to burst out of your chest at the mere sight of her. The girl you see, and your palms get clammy, you start sweating, you get tongue tied, and almost feel like you're going to lose control of your bladder," I laugh, they laugh, "That one, single, solitary girl, that you would spend 100 years chasing after, would die for, would kill for, would protect 'til the very last drop of blood falls from your body. The girl that, no matter how hard you try, you can never seem to force from your mind, you close your eyes for even a second and shes there, smiling, waving, or whatever, that girl is the one I want, forget all these other girls, they're someone elses dream girl, and why should I be the one to stand in their way?"
And then it goes on to other things, things I cannot quite remember clearly enough to describe. Odd how that is the only part of my dream that should stick with me.
