So today my band teacher was sick. Like throwing up sick I guess, and went home half way through the day sick. So fifth period rolls around, it's my band period, and the teacher isn't there of course, she's home sick. There's no sub there yet, so the choir teacher comes in and says, "Until your teacher comes in, you can come into my room." So we all walk into the choir room, and stand up against a wall. A few people jump on the risers because they're idiots and give the choir teacher ideas. He decides, Hey, let's stick the band kids in and have them sing too! If there had been a clock in sight, I would've been staring at it the entire time. As long as I wasn't stairing at the door... Anyway, so ya. I had to sing. Me, Mr. Tone deaf. There were some people who were sitting down to the side of the risers despite the yelling from the choir teacher for them to stand up, and one guy who stood behind the risers and made duck noises.. But I didn't sit down because my head was sticking out behind the people in front of me since I couldn't hide behind my friends. Eventually the principal (Of ALL the people that could've...) came in and brought us back into the band room, to "stay in one place" or something like that, and watch Indiana Jones. I ended up watching my friends play that game where you slap the other persons hands when they're least expecting it with risks if one of them loses. The person who went first (they switched back and fourth) thought that he had won because he had gotten to seven, the number they needed to get, before the other girl, but she hadn't taken her seventh turn yet so it wasn't really fair... So they kept going until they got to a "tie" at the end of the period, and they supposedly both had to do their bets. But the guy changed his, or didn't give enough information to it. *Shakes head*
Moral of the story: If I'd wanted to sing in choir I woulda joined it damnit! gonk
