When Sotaru & Zaira reached the end of their destination, they found three figures leaning their ears against a thick oak door. Kakairo (being the shortest at 5') was at the bottom; then Rem who was 5'6; Taronis came in third behind Rem; & Aergan loomed over all three of them with his whoping 12' height. Zaira ran up to them & bent down.
"What's happening?" She whispered so low they could barely hear her with their acute ears.
Kakairo lifted her head a few centimeters & glowered at her. ||Use telepathy, you idiot.||
Aergan rolled his eyes. ||That wench is way too paranoid.||
||I HEARD THAT!!|| came Kai's hiss in his head.
||Stop thinking so loud, both of you!|| Rem snapped. They all went quiet again. There was a soft shuffling sound as they made room for Zaira. Sotaru just leaned idolly against the wall next to the doorway & closed his eyes. They continued to listen.

Daemion glared back at Kioshi once he was able to hack the air back into his lungs. The air sparked from the electricity from rage rippling off both of the angels. Daemion stood up & began to brush some invisbile dust from his sleeve. He shook his pure white wings to get the feeling back in them; of which was taken away when they were crushed against the wall.
"You obviously have no choice. Unless you want your misfit friends to be punished for your mistakes."
Kioshi's glared deepened as his tightening fist made his nails brake the skin of his palms. "IF I do this... " he said through clenched teeth. "..you will leave us alone?"
"Aye."
Another deep silence.
"Just tell me when & where..." Kioshi finally said reluctantly.
Daemion smiled casually, but still held that coldness in it. "Good. Be at Los Angelos by tomorrow."
||What a fitting place... wait!|| "Los Angelos?! You didn't mention I'd have to search for demons in a city!" Kioshi barked at him.
"Well I did now."
His arrogance was really getting on the fallen angel's last nerve. "I will need to aquire a team..."
"You will aquire your own team. As a rebuked being you are not permissable to work with any membe of the Committee."
"How the hell am I going to assemble a team, then?!"
Daemion reached over, turned the door handle, & threw it open. A black blur shot through the doorway as Kakairo prevented herself from being tackled by three people & a giant. She appeared behind Kioshi with he own glare, looking as if she wanted to charge into the room like a crazed bull. Meanwhile, Rem, expecting Kai's support beneath her, fell face-forward onto the ground. He small frame soon disappeared beneath Taronis's. The Zaira. Aergan let out a furious yell of a curse word that rumbled in the room & landed on top of all three of them. The three disappeared underneath him. Sotaru peeked his head around to observe the scene with mild amusement.
Kioshi gave all of them a look of disapproval. He turned to Daemion again but noticed him & Kakairo were now glowering at each other. He saw the demoness's jaw twitch a little. Daemion's eyes held enough bloodlust to feed a vampire. Revenge. Kioshi was brought back to a mission he had back when he was in the Committee. Daemion was one of his comrades. They were demon hunters on Earth during a time when demons were showing themselves in real life & bodies. They would cause mass chaos where ever they went. One demon could level an entire town. Kakairo was one of them they were hunting.
By then Sotaru had stepped over the knotted bodies & now stood behind Kioshi on the other side. Rem had untangled herself & hurried over to them. Followed by Aergan (who had changed into a raven & perched himself on Rem's shoulder), Taronis, & Zaira. Daemion observed them all before grunting & turning towards the door.
"You have 'til tomorrow. If not, I will destroy this arena & everything in it." He walked through the doorway & disappeared in specks of shining light. The group slowly relaxed.
Kakairo looked at Kioshi. "We're going with you."

Men are so stubborn.
"No." came the flat reply.
"You need our help." Taronis added.
"I don't want any of you involved."
"Too late." Rem chimed semi perkily.
Kioshi raised his eyebrows. "You shouldn't have been eavesdropping to begin with..."
"Well we did & we're coming with you." said Kai. The others nodded stubbornly with her.
Kioshi opened his mouth to argue but Aergan transformed back into a 12 foot vampire & interrupted. "Just give it a rest. All four of the battle-axes have set their minds on it."
Rem, Kai, Taronis, & Zaira turned to give Aergan a look that told him to shut the hell up. Kioshi smirked.
"I guess that is true. In many ways."
It was his turn to recieve the look. Meanwhile, Taronis had come to a realization. He pointed to each of the three girls, counting under his breath, & then pointed to himself. There was a few seconds pause before he twirled to glare up at Aergan. "HEY! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY 'FOUR' BATTLE-AXES?!"
"Take a wild guess, shrimp."
Zaira grabbed Taronis by the collar to prevent him from lunging at Aergan. Kioshi smirked. "Alright. We will all go to Los Angelos tomorrow."
"What do we need to bring?" sounded Sotaru from a dark corner he had taken refuge in. The group all jumped. Sotaru had a way to disappear when he was still there. It might have been his silence.
"Just equipment. We will worry about clothes when we get there."
"Wait. We can't go as we are?" asked Kakairo. Obviously confused.
Everyone gave her a look as if she just threw up a live chicken. Aergan tapped the top of her head with one of his long knobby fingers. "Oy. when was the last time you've been to Earth?"
"A few hundred years ago."
"Um... you'll see why when we get there Kai." Rem said.
Kioshi had another childish grin on his face that meant she was about to experiance a huge or nasty surprise. Oh joy. "You aren't leaving without us right?" she asked.
"If I was do you think I'd tell you?" he answered.
"Tenshi..." Kai growled warningly.
"I won't."
"You admitted that too easily!"
"Ok. I will."
"Kioshi!"
The angel looked up at her innocently. "Yes?"
The group laughed. Before Kakairo could throttle Kioshi, Aergan had picked her up by the collar & was suspending the demoness 5 feet above the ground. She struggled to get out of his grasps, looking more like an evil rag doll. Kioshi was obviously enjoying his ability to annoy her.
"Before the night ends in blood shed, I suggest we all go to bed." Zaira suggested.
"Aye aye, to that." Taronis said. Sotaru melted completely into the shadows & disappeared.
Rem nodded & followed them out. "TTFN. Until tomorrow. Good night!"
"Good night." Aergan & Kioshi said at the same time.
"Aergan..."
"Yes Kai?"
"PUT ME THE F--K DOWN!!!"
Aergan sweatdropped. "Oops. I was wondering where that annoying nagging was coming from." He said as he sat her down near the door way. He was dealt a punch to the ribs before being allowed to walk out. Kakairo fumed at him as he walked out. She looked at Kioshi expressionlessly.
"If you leave without us I'll skin you alive with a dull razor."
"I'll keep that fully in mind." Kioshi replied.
"Hn. Tenshi no baka."
"Oni no baka."
"Bite me."
"Love to."
He ducked as a rock appeared out of now where in the demoness's palm & was thrown his way. Kai slammed the door behind her.
