Have you ever seen a Goth girl cry,
And supress the urge to ask her why?
Why she's showing emotion for a first,
And what could cause her dam to burst.
Have you ever seen an Emo bleed,
Ever ask her what planted that seed?
The seed of self-hatred abd low self-esteem.
What could stop that fast flowing crimson stream?
Have you ever seen a Punk depressed,
Or seen her when she's greatly stressed?
When her demeanor's drastically changed,
Her behavior cold, which is quite strange.
Have ever seen any of these things,
And the recognition never rings?
That maybe you just pass by,
And never stop to ask why.
Why she's crying; showing emotion for a first.
Why she's cutting; making the pain worse.
Why she's depressed; What brought her down?
Could you be the cause of her frown?
